1. Certainly am! I'll get back to you as soon as I have it here safe and sound. Cheers Pete
2. I'll be collecting mine in the next couple of days. I'll measure it for you and let you know. I think it's slighly wider than the previous model. Alternatively I'm sure Andrew or Jeff would oblige over a phone call. They're very helpful. Cheers, Pete
3. I used to own a valve amp (SVT2PRO) and always regretted selling it as the tone was just great. The down side was when it used to have valve problems (expensive) and I had back problems (painful). I bought an Aguilar DB751 and was happy enough for a while but then I started hankering after that valve tone again so I visited the Matamp factory a couple of weeks ago and tried the new GT200. I was blown away! I played it through my GS410 and the warmth of the tone was just tremendous. I had always thought the DB751 to be a great amp (and I've had many compliments about it at gigs) but it just sounded 'dry' and lifeless in comparison to the GT200. I ordered one on the spot and I'm expecting it any day now. Mine will have the new transformers and be fitted with KT120 valves. This should nudge the 'clean output' up to 250 watts or so. I have to say that I found Andrew and Jeff to be the most helpful and well-informed people as well as the most committed to what they do. Can't wait to go over and collect it - the excitement is killing me! I can fully understand why you guys get so excited about Matamp gear.

6. I used to have one of these and I can testify that it is a splendid bass and extremely rare. Difficult to find anything out about them because I could not get ESP to come up with any details in spite of sending them several emails. It is a joy to play and extremely well made. The craftsmanship that has gone into it has to be seen to be believed. The body is two pieces of book-matched ash and that gave it tremendous sustain. The only reason I sold mine was because I have back problems and mine was on the heavy side - even for a jazz bass. Best of luck with the sale. Whoever buys it is getting a first class instrument.
7. Hi. Where are you based? Regards, Pete
8. Hi. I have one of these '83 basses and I have to say they are both excellent and under-rated. When I bought it (for a lot more than is being asked here) I spent some time pulling facts and figures together about it. It featured quite a few innovations such as the Bi-flex truss rod, a beefed-up bridge, new style tuners, strap locks and a one piece pick guard. Mine is the same colour as this and is styled "Ivory". Whenever I play it I always get good comments about the sound. Perhaps that may be due to the bridge pick up placement, which is nearer the bridge than in current specs. I asked for the full spec from Fender and they sent it to me, as follows. Best of luck with the sale. It's a real bargain at that price. Model Name: Standard Jazz Bass[sup]®[/sup] (First) Model Number: 019-2300-(Color #) and 019-2302-(Color #) Series: Standard Series Body: Alder Neck: Maple (Biflex Truss Rod with Tilt-Adjust) Fingerboard: Rosewood Fretboard (019-2300) and Maple Fretboard (019-2302), 7.25” Radius/184 mm) No. of Frets: 20 Scale Length: 34” (864 mm) Width @ Nut: 1.50" Hardware: Chrome Machine Heads: New Die-Cast Bridge: Standard 4-Saddle Jazz Bass[sup]®[/sup] Pickguard: 1-Piece 1-Ply White Pickguard (No Chrome Control Plate) Pickups: 2 Jazz Bass[sup]®[/sup] Pickups (Neck & Bridge) Pickup Switching: N/A Controls: Volume (Neck Pickup), Volume (Bridge Pickup), Master Tone Colors: (506) Black, (531) Sienna Sunburst, (532) Brown Sunburst, (549) Ivory Strings: Dynamaxx Unique Features: White Pickup Covers, Solid 1-Piece 1-Ply White Pickguard, No Chrome Control Plate, Biflex Truss Rod with Tilt-Adjust, White Plastic Skirted Control Knobs Source: U.S. Accessories: U.S. MSRP: $750.00 Specs: Prices and Specifications Subject to Change Without Notice INTRODUCED: 7/1983 DISCONTINUED: 1989 DISCONTINUED COLORS: COMMENTS: Uses same part numbers (019-2300 and 019-2302) as the American Standard Jazz Bass introduced in 1989. 9. Should be with you by now. Sorry, I'd stupidly placed the post before I sent the PM! Cheers Pete
10. These basses are absolutely great. I have a Basic and its name belies what this bass can do. The EQ is very subtle and allows you to create tones from warm and round to punchy and 'Jacoesque' The neck is beautiful to play - very comfortable and fast. These basses are about £1,000 new so this is a real bargain. Best of luck with the sale.
11. Hi Paul. My 4 string Streamer Stage 1 is still available to trade if you're interested?
12. I have one of these and can fully endorse what's been said. They are superb basses and a joy to play. It's unfortunate that Sandberg call this "The Basic" as it's anything but 'basic'. They are beautifully made and the EQ is very flexible. There are no over-the-top tone settings here and the bass can be made to sound like anything you want it to just by subtle EQing and altering plucking position. Whoever gets this bass will not be disappointed. Best of luck with the sale
13. What trades do you have in mind?
14. Are you open to trades? If so, what would you have in mind?
15. These are great pedals. I set mine and leave it on all the time. Warms the sound up really well. I wouldn't be without it. It's a bargain price too. Best of luck with the sale.
16. Friday bump for a real bargain!
17. For sale is my RC2 Loop Station. I bought this new for a project that never materialised. Never gigged and hardly ever used. Therefore it's as new, still in its polythene wrapper with full instructions and box. Looking for £100 plus postage.

19. Sold a bass to Dave and everything went a smooth as silk. Prompt payment, quick meet up, completely hassle-free. Great, friendly bloke to deal with. Highly recommended. Thanks Dave
20. For sale is my 44-02 in beautiful condition. These Skyline basses are a real treat to play and, with a jazz in the neck position and 3-way switchable humbucker at the bridge, there are no end of tone choices available. Ash body and maple fingerboard with 22 frets. The full spec is on the Lakland website. It comes with a lightweight gig case. I'm only parting with this bass as I need to raise some cash for a new project. Looking for £500 OVNO and would prefer collection from Leeds or meet up within 50 miles of Leeds.
