  1. Confirm they are indeed 44.1 so they're exactly what i needed. I did have to crop them as they're 1 second long, and my Sonic IR loader didn't have the memory space. I cropped to 250ms and its all good..
  2. Do you know if these are 44.1? I’ve messaged them but not heard back yet. Is there a way I can tell myself?
  3. Gunna bump this thread rather than start a new one. I’m looking for bass cab IRs, preferably 24bit 44.1. Any recommendations? Cheers
  4. I did see these, and they do a Tele bass version also, but they're not available. No idea if they've sold out of stopped making them.
  5. best bet at the minute is buying a Squier 32” Jag and stripping it for parts.
  6. Anybody know a good source for a 32" Jazz neck in the UK? Not strictly Jazz, but something of that type ( P or Jag perhaps ) cheers
  7. Swamp Ash body with upgraded EMG HZ pickups. probably going to be a project.
  8. That's an incredible looking bass..
  9. Has anyone built a frequency split pedal here? Either fixed or variable. Single input, high and low output.
  10. Bought an EHX Dr Q from Alexa3020. very happy 👌👌
  11. Another shout out to Ashdown, and in particular Dave Green. I messaged regarding my ABM500 randomly cutting out on a couple of occasions. Spoke to him this morning. Send it to us, I'll strip it and fully service it, It'll just cost you a tenner for return postage.. This is a 20 year old amp I bought second hand. Amazing service...
  12. I know this is getting side tracked, but how does the amp know? What I mean is, if the signal goes direct to the power amp and also through the effects loop, surely you'd get both signals arriving at the power amp section? I not doubting what you're saying at all I just don't understand how it works.. 👍
  13. Never thought that would work. I assumed you would lose the signal to the power amp section if you interrupted it in the effects loop...
  14. Thanks for the reply. Yes I'll be using a cab. Wouldn't your suggestion put the cab sim back into the amp and then to the cab? This is what I'm trying to avoid. If the Cab sim had a "thru" I guess that could go back to the amp... Good point.. 👍
  15. No sure where to post this so I'll start here. The question is in the title. Can I? I know the DI level is lower, but its also different resistance so I not sure if that'll effect the sound at all. Long story is I want to run my Ashdown ABM DI out into a cab sim, which is instrument level input..
  16. I'm sure the output acts as a classic unaffected "thru" in this setup, doesn't it?
  17. Those all tube heads should sell at that price. Says they have 10+ in stock... Matching 8x10 also available....👌
  18. I kinda preferred the Ampeg in the blind test but not much in it. Question from me is, does the Origin send Cab Sim to the DI and the amp output, or just the DI. A lot of pre amps do this and it annoys me a bit. The Ampeg only sends Cab Sim to the DI and the headphones, which is a much better setup to me...
  19. always loved this song. Great minimalist bass line.
  20. what do you guys think? The neck is great, but the string / pole line up is quite a bit out..
  21. Hi. Is this a standard Fender spacing? Would it fit a Squire CV Jaguar bass?
