  1. Soon!! ✌️
  2. Yeah this is a great pedal. I have 2. A working one and one of the original faulty ones. The full on fuzz is really nice.
  3. I’m maybe looking at going with Retrovibe for my next 32”. Most of their basses are available in 32” scale and they do some really great looking basses.
  4. Yeah it’s a really nice bass to play. Very impressed given how cheap these are new.
  5. I have 2.5mm and as I understand it even that is overkill, but they where cheap enough so why not..
  6. EBay for £95. I already had the Hi Mass bridge and EMG pickups so I put them on it. It sounds really great. It weights a tonne
  7. agree this is correct, but it wouldn’t make sense for the effects loop to be excluded from the DI signal would it? So either the effects loop is pre EQ or you need to select post EQ DI if you’re using the effects loop.
  8. Looking at the effects list I'm thinking the expression pedal is very limit in what it can control. I would have hoped they'd take inspiration for the Helix and make any parameter controllable...
  9. Yeah mine has the defeat switch
  10. One thing that attracted me was the fact that he seems to do a fair few 32” scales which is what I’m playing at the minute.
  11. If the effects loop is after the speaker sim, how does the speaker sim defeat button effect the effects loop. as I understand it, the speaker sim defeat only effects the line/amp out and not the di? If this is the case the defeat must be before the effects loop no?
  12. can I hijack this a little and ask for your opinion on Retrovibe basses? I’m guessing as you own 3 you like them. Just asking as I’ve been looking at his recent builds and they look great.
  13. Head in the picture is 18.5” and I’m sure the cabs are the same, looking at the photo. The cab dimensions you’re looking at include the rubber feet which I’ve relocated to the bottom.
  14. Ashdown ABM Compact series. Both 500w versions.
  15. This is why I’ll stick with Ashdown. I send a second hand ABM500 evo2 to him as it had an intermittent fault where it was cutting sound to the speakers. sent it to Dave, tested it, couldn’t find the problem so stripped out and fully replaced the power amp section along with all the front panel controls. amp is essentially new now and sounds amazing.
  16. that’s Peak not RMS. Seems a bit low 🤷‍♂️
  17. is that with reference to it being rated at 200watts? i thought that was odd. My Ashdown 1x15 is 500 so if I used the 410he, that’s what it’ll be paired with.
  18. Are they honestly saying those buttons can be used by foot? They look way too small and close together..
  19. of course. I’ll have a play with it and if I like it I’ll keep it.
  20. Just picked this cab up for a bargain. I know they’re not very popular but I’ve never tried one before. Any thoughts?
  21. Although I have no experience of their services, I do know that https://seabassvinyl.com/ in Scotland started up last year and have recently handled pressing for Fish. Their prices look competitive.
  22. some people might think the top and bottom could do with "Shelf" switches. Either way, 5 way parametric analogy EQ is a bargain at that price.
  23. True Dat!! 😂 If your speakers can't reproduce it, what bother sending it to the power amps in the first place. Everything including the kick drum gets it..
  24. User manual says "tuned to mimic the response of the ABM cabs". Obviously its not IR, so not sure how much it will sound like the real thing.
  25. Agree. Think Ashdown missed a trick on their latest Tube Preamp. Speaker sim DI outputs are common place now. Even if it is analogue, it’s a good feature that can’t be that expensive to implement.
