Thanks guys, I agree re both. I bought this when I was playing upright in a 3-piece band which had a very specific challenge with live sound and especially vocal monitoring (some songs required 3-part harmonies supported by upright bass, slide guitar, and banjo. I'll give you a few minutes to calculate the chances of the whole thing being in tune with anything but 100% monitoring fidelity......)
Anyway, I loved the guys and and the music, but ultimately it was a real niche band (think Wood Brothers gigging the pubs of Kent), and we sacked it shortly after I bought this unit. My current band is one of these rare beasts that plugs into a mixer, plays, and barring a few tweaks, sounds good, so replacing the simplicity of the current Peavey desk that works really with the (relative) complexity of this unit seems unnecessary. A sound guy who I was talking to at our last gig however said he'd love to get his hands on one of these because it makes his job infinitely easier. Guess it's horses for courses ๐
