  10. Ballad of Dwight Fry - Alice Cooper
  11. From looking at the B3 Manual... 1 Yes... but i think an Amp/Cab sim takes one of the 3 FX slots. 2 mmm Not Sure on that... It's the Pre/Post Switch... Reads like you can only have it the other way round... I might be wrong because what you describe would be exactly what you would want, A 'style' output to FoH or Desk and a standard out to your own amp/cab. PRE/POST switch Use this switch to set the point when the signal is output from the BALANCED OUT connector. Set it to “POST” (pushed in) to output the signal after the effects. Set it to “PRE” (not pushed in) to output the signal before the effects.
  12. Dunno about the finer B3 settings for DI etc... Download the Full Manual and FX Lists, along with the latest Firmware from the Zoom site, rather than just go with the Quick User or Getting Started Guide But with the B1on the Amp Sim is just like one of the effects you can have off the 5 in chain... and i have some patches of just the Marshall Superbass at differing settings... (you can turn the Cab bit on and off) The B1on doesn't really do 'Stomp Mode' like the B1Four and other Zooms... You can turn effects within a patch On or Off but it's more a Finger/Button rather than Foot/Pedal action. Which is why i approach it more as a Patch 'n Play.... with 10 Banks of 10 Patches... With only a 1/4" Jack out would a Jack to XLR lead or Adaptor be better to feed a mixer or for DI, or as the output wouldn't be 3 wire Balanced wouldnt make any difference... apart from the style of socket connection?
  13. Possibly a Jazz term indicating a nice neat sinewave... of whatever note that may come to mind... but without those horrible distortion type peaks...
  14. Might Help... MN Taper. www.talkbass.com%2Fthreads%2Fcapacitor-on-a-blend-pot-what-does-it-do.1492092%2F&tbnid=s23JpsyGCZ2-0M&vet=12ahUKEwjjubKXgtP2AhUSi_0HHb0bDlcQMygBegUIARC_AQ..i&docid=QgAko1Ce0ujl1M&w=612&h=792&q=seymour duncan MN blend&client=ms-android-samsung&ved=2ahUKEwjjubKXgtP2AhUSi_0HHb0bDlcQMygBegUIARC_AQ

  17. 1st Stop... whats local on Gumtree? I got a Ibby GSR200 for £50! Now wired VBT for simplicity of use and left the Phat II Some letter stickers on the fretboard to help them (and me...) along the way... 12th is quite far enough! And Custom Star Wars Stickers to make it his own...
  18. Even cheap tuners can be improved and it's realy easy on Open Types. I take 'em apart and give the worms 'n cogs a wire woolin' to remove any rough edges of plating... reassemble with a dab of coppa slip, which is a little abrasive and give em a few good turns, to help em mesh. then clean that off and apply a dab of vaseline. Quick 5 min job on each machine head can realy improve the feel. Sealed types get a little squirt of spray grease in the tuner stem shaft gap... And a lot of tuning issues can be down to sticky nuts!.. So some pencil lead applied to the nut slots...
  19. Ibanez. GSR200 or SR500.. It's all about the Ibby Neck.
  20. Roto 88 are wide strings... Depends if you U round or more V slotted the nut... Might have a bit of rattlin in the nut... What sort of bass n budget? New nut or fill with superglue and baking soda...
  21. Zoom B1Four? Set 1 or more patches per song, and even name them... plus Tuner and Amp / Cab Sims so can go straight to a mixer if need be.
  22. VW... Volksvargen or WoloxWagon...
  23. Solder Tag style washers... Like the ones used on the Bornes Plastic Bodied pots of their 'Vintage' Range. https://www.bourns.com/docs/product-datasheets/82.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwj337rPh8v2AhUShlwKHWmvAjQQFnoECBoQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0Q3lXe_hfqCiINQRmbu9lp
