  1. Tbh I'm not sure I ever played it quietly enough to notice!! I don't remember noticing it at any point, but couldn't say for sure I'm afraid.
  2. Still available - will be up on evilBay soon if no interest here!
  3. Yep was good, no complaints other than the carpet thing!
  4. Ashdown model numbers get a bit confusing, but if you mean the OriginAL C112-300 with the tilt back option then yes, I had one for a bit! It sounded great and was really light, but it wasn't quite loud enough for a 3 piece blues/rock band in a smallish pub without PA support or a second cab. In the end I used mine with an RM112 cab and it was really nice and gigged it a lot before heading down the Barefaced route for a while. The C210-300 is probably a bit louder as each 10 inch speaker is wired individually to use the amps full power, but you can't add and extension cab. I'd definitely get one of these if I needed a small combo again, although I wish they had Tolex coverings rather than carpet!
  5. Always fancied one if these for my Stingray. What's the difference between the long and standard versions?
  6. That could certainly be an option, although I do like to have a tweeter if it's available. Tbh I've moved on from the idea of the GR cab for now or indeed using a single cab for everything. I've actually sold both my Barefaced and used the proceeds to fund some IEM's as my main band have moved in that direction. For when I need cabs for deps and other part time projects I've picked up a cheap really RM610 on here for the very rare big stages (certainly don't want to use that everyday but sounds monstrous!). I also got a lightweight 4ohm 1200w Purple Chilli 410 for medium venues, and then have an Ashdown RM112T on the way for rehearsals and small venues. To be fair the Purple Chilli could cover all those scenarios, but nice to have options! Financially I bought all three of those cabs for less than what I sold the single BB for, and the sale of the BT2 covered the IEM's and a Ashdown OriginAL valve DI, so for now I am pretty well set!
  7. Really surprised this didn't go! Still it means I get to keep it a little longer so I'm not unhappy 😆.
  8. Paul purchased my RM800. Very good comms with fast and fair payment - deal with confidence!
  9. Price drop to £800 for this weekend. Otherwise am going to withdraw for now and buy the new bass on the credit card!
  10. I know, and tbh the longer it's on here the less I want to let it go 😬.
  11. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
  12. Markbass Supersyth - great pedal but I need a synth with a smaller footprint and now have my Octave covered by OC5, so surplus to requirements. May trade for something smaller! £90 posted in UK, great condition with original box and PSU.
  13. Purchased this last year, had lots of fun with it but have my eye on something new. Just been restrung with a set of regular slinky's. Also I have replaced the saddle height adjustment screws. The originals had siezed (a fault with the relicing process which Limelight have now changed). The new ones are hex rather than slotted, so not period but much easier to use - but can give you the size details if you want to change them back! I asked Mark about this history of the bass a while ago and he said the following: Limelight 00137 is quite an early one - the 37th one made in fact, and finished in october 2014. Ordered as a 1960 Stack Knob Jazz in Orange over white with a Jazz width maple neck (Not actually an option in 1960 but it was common for necks to be switched). This build was ordered with the earth strip from bridge to bridge PU, but without mute holes, and no hootenanny button either. Also requested for the thumb rest to be in the upper position above the E string (Fender moved it to this position in 1974, before then it was below the G). Also had the later (1968 onwards) barrel saddles bridge instead of the threaded bridge. There are some nice pics of it on their website here: https://classicandcoolguitars.co.uk/portfolio/limelight-custom-00137-j-bass/ Weighs in at 4.4kg (9lb 12oz) Would much prefer collection from Chelmsford or local meet up, but may post at buyers risk and expense. Any questions let me know!
  14. I have 2 ABM's and have decided to let one go. Can't decide which to sell so am going to put them both up here and keep which ever is left!! The AMB600RC is a couple of years old. Rack mounted and comes with a new style FS4 footswitch. Excellent condition, always rack mounted. The footswitch and 2u rack were £150 on their own. Asking a firm £475 for this. The 500 is a 2012 15th Anniversary model, and has recently come back from a service/check over at Ashdown. It comes with its original slip cover and older style FS4 footswitch with fixed lead. Very good condition, some signs of use but excellent for its age. Looking for £300 for this. Would much prefer collection or possibly a meet up within a reasonable distance of Chelmsford. Will possibly post but would be at buyers cost and risk. Any questions let me know!
  15. Tentatively looking to sell my Big Twin 2. We'll cared for, great condition, original cover. Collection from Chelmsford ideally. I'm afraid I won't post/courier. Possible meet up within a reasonable distance. May well regret selling - but going IEM on a couple of projects so going to get a couple of cheaper modular 12's or 210's for when I need cabs. Thanks for looking!
  16. @Ander87 bought my Barefaced BB2 today - excellent coms, really nice guy - recommend!
  17. Peter bought some strings off me - nice guy to deal with and easy transaction - thank you!
  18. Just bought Dave's Line 6 wireless. Exactly as described, well packed, sent quickly. A credit to the Forum!
