  1. Still here! On eBay with opening bid of £235+p&p but can do £225 collected or £240 posted if anyone here wants it before it gets any bids!
  2. Met Stew at a services to sell my an amp - lovely guy, great comms - everything you'd expect from a basschat legend!
  3. Will consider trades. No cabs as am clearing space but will consider a bass, pedals etc
  4. Can't believe these are still here! Final price drop to £300. That's £150/cab including the Roqsolid covers - madness!
  5. Some more pics. Light/camera made them look a bit orange for some reason - they are much more red in real life (see original stage pic!)
  6. Picked this up on eBay today. Did I need another stack? Absolutely not! However I couldn't turn down the opportunity to try a original MK1 ABM 500w head and two 408 cabs. What a sound! Can't wait to try them out in a band situation!!
  7. Bit of a bargain for someone! No offers. I bought this for £150 from another BC'er last year, so offering out on here at the same price for a few days before it goes eBay. I know big heavy cabs are not in vouge but this absolutely makes the earth shake! Looks the part too. I just need to free up some cash and have to downsize the collection a bit and have a RM410 already so unfortunately I have to move this on. It is in excellent condition, not bashed about like a lot of big cabs you will see. Just a few light marks here and there - no rips or gouges. That's largely thanks for the padded leatherette Hotcover which would be £100 on its own!! It also has added chequer plate like the ABM models for extra protection. It's 4ohm, 900w, 90cm x 60cm x 33cm and weighs 56kg according to Ashdowns website. It is a heavy cab but the two wheels and top handles make it easy to move about and it fits through a standard size door no problems. Obviously due to size it is collection only from Chelmsford, Essex.
  8. Head now Sold! Cabs available for £350 for the pair with Roqsolid covers. Have the original boxes/packaging so could post at cost. Will post some more pics later.
  9. For sale to help fund an amp purchase. I purchased this a while back and simply haven't used it. I primarily bought it for my band to be able to run 4 different IEM mixes, and also for live Multitrack recording but the project folded before we got the chance to try it. The previous owner has a very similar story so it's pretty much as new! It comes with the Zoom Carry case, original power adapter and USB cable, and a 128gb SD card. To by this bundle new would cost in excess of £400, so asking a very reasonable £250 plus postage. Everything you could want to know about this can be found in this article: https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/zoom-livetrak-l-8
  10. I bought this a couple of years back out of a fit of nostalgia as I used to play a 6 string Curbow in the early 00's. It reminded me what such great basses these are - and I soon managed to find another 6 string for the collection. However that has left this pretty much unplayed since as I really only play 5/6 these days. An amp has caught my eye so I'm selling some gear I use the least to try to raise the funds. Really good condition, only a couple of very minor paint chips as per pics. 3.7kg/7lb 6oz so very light. Bartolini pickup with 3 band active EQ, adjustable slap contour switch and adjustable gain control. Recently restrung and new battery and only about half an hour's play since. Ideally collection from Chelmsford, Essex - but will meet at a reasonable distance or willing to discuss postage options.
  11. Played this head with my 410 yesterday - sounded sooo good. Can't bring myself to sell so withdrawn! Going to see if I can raise the funds for the other head another way - will just have to have 2 valve heads 😆
  12. So tentatively offering this for sale as I have the opportunity to buy another valve amp that I've wanted for ages and I need to sell this to raise the funds and make space in the living room- but if the other amp sells first then this will be withdrawn. Can take some more pics when I'm home if there's interest, but both the head and cab are in excellent condition, only very minor marks. Both come with fitted leatherette Hotcovers which alone would be £150. Absolute bargain at £1250 with no offers, and only for sale as long for as the other amp is still available! I'll even throw in a little fold away tolley to help making moving the cab much easier if you want it. It's a beast but this rig can make the earth shake!! According to the Ashdown website the current retail on the CTM300 is £2699 and the RM610 is £849 - so this is a steal if you are after a huge sounding valve amp! Collection only from Chelmsford, Essex. Any questions let me know!
  13. I bought this about a year ago from Cheinmortbb as a back up and practice amp. It's been absolutely brilliant and got me out of trouble one gig where I left my ABM in the porch and used with with my 610 😆. I was actually seriously impressed with it. At 400w RMS and 620w peak it has plenty of poke. It's got 2 Speakon outs, DI, line in and headphones out - so plenty of options. The EQ is simple but effective, it can give nice transparent clean tones but crank the gain and it gives a very pleasing overdriven growl. I found the line in particularly useful at rehearsals for connecting the phone to remind guitarists of how the songs should actually go 😆. Simple but effective!! Obviously it also makes it easy to jam along to tracks for practice with a cab connected or with just headphones. It's small/light enough to easily carry around as a backup. Chienmortbb has modded the fans so it's one rubber mounts to make it whisper quiet, but the screws and original guard are still there. Comes with original box too. Specs can be found here: https://ashdownmusic.com/products/mibass-2-0 Only for sale as I've just picked up a newer OriginAL 500w head. Sorry no trades. £130 posted in the UK.
  14. Sadly my main gigging band has bitten the dust. I've put this rig together as my ideal "pub rock" setup - it certainly turns heads both in sound and looks! I'm gutted to sell it, but I can't justify keeping it if it's not in regular use. I have other less fancy/easy to transport amps that I can fall back on for a while - but this will be missed! The MK500 is a brilliant amp, and takes pedals/preamps really well. It's housed in an LD case/bag and is an easy 1 hand carry. It's UK made. The "12 band" that Ashdown currently make is pretty much the same animal and currently retails at £1200! The two cabs are lightweight, punchy and look/sound great. The have some light gig marks but are in good order. The come with Roqsolid covers with matching red piping! I can get into the gig in two trips with this set up. Trip 1:. Bass on back, head in one hand and one cab in the other. Trip 2:. Cab in one hand, pedal board in the other and rucksack of cables/spares! I can provide more photos on request. Collection from Chelmsford, Essex, or will drive a reasonable distance for a meet up. Comes with Kettle lead by not speaker cables as I use them with my other amps. No trades unfortunately. Thanks for looking!
