I would imagine that, if you're a mac user, then GarageBand or logic would fit the bill. If you're pc, cubase,protocols , cakewalk etc.Other bchatters will advise. In the software I mentioned, many loops are included. There are many bass fx , that do synths noises also.Some good, some bad...some expensive... I used to have an aligator amp, which was a keyboard /drum amp. Other bchatters will advise on amps also. I haven't done anything for y onks , and am thinking of doing some similar stuff myself. May start today, once my hangover goes.)

Also , if it's metal, make sure he has the relevant effects pedals/box

Mmmmm, 9 string bass"...how much!?! If you really really love it , and you'll keep it forever, then ok. But, if , like many of us , you get GAS , then you may have problems with selling it on.

If your bass is feeling much better after the setup the tutor did, perhaps consider it as a bargain setup, and move on.

So, tonight I meet friend and his wife and another person outside brixton academy (chicken foot) I haven't seen him for a few months,and we were catching up on stuff. Then , I had a senior moment and lost my train of thought. The conversation ; friend "I just joined a new band." Me;"wow!great etc." He then explains the band. Then I ask the most ridiculous question"what's the singer like?" Now I don't know how or why I asked such a dumb question.i tried to rectify it by asking if the 2guitarists in his band play differently.the wife thought it was an odd q Heston, and thought I was being Sara stic. She loves me tho.,and I love her too. I think I'm losing or lost the plot....

Back in the day, I was one.( more thrash than spandex ) As I got older, I knew that my barnet won't be here forever. In the mid '90s I shaved most of it off. Until then, my hair was like a badge. I never bothered with tattoos. Not my thing. (They're everywhere now). However , I have to laugh as Tonight I'm gonna see Chickenfoot , and I've just had a number 3. I think Satch has less than me ..just.

i play bass ,while sitting in a stool.Sometimes I even use my Aguilar cab ,which has the cover. I bought a new computer chair from Homebase. They often have sales there .

I've had a strange unorthodox idea, which I tried briefly tonight. I hooked up my iPad into my mac mini, via my line6 ux1 . I plugged the iPad into the line in sockets of the ux1 . I then played the kaossilator app on my iPad , and recorded some noises on GarageBand on my mac mini. Everything seemed to work ,)
