Same joke in Birmingham last week, but after the first song when Nick asked for no flash photography as it hurt the bass player's delicate eyes. Good fun live, and I think they quite enjoy ribbing each other on stage. Shame they didn't play Green in the Colour.

Great hymn that! Are you sure it's 9/8? I have been singing it, and end up in 6/8 or 12/8. But then my sense of timing and rhythm is pretty carp!

There seem to be lots of manufactures making very similar looking earbuds with various Z10 designations, or the same factory churning out the same thing at different price points. There are also variations with the number of drivers. I know the Linsoul ones were recommended, if anyone has a variant it would be good to know how they perform.

I have an old EBS session 60 for use at home, which is made with the back corner chopped out so it can tilt back. If one day I need to buy a gigging amp then I shall definitely pinch the flat pack idea.

No However if you do buy tickets for the tour then they don't count. Unless you are also using her PA in which case it's in the signal chain so it's a Tier 2 fail.

Very neat. 👍 How big is the stand? It looks quite small, and I'm thinking if it was too small then the cab would just tilt over backwards as the centre of gravity must be near but above the middle of the speaker

Welcome aboard! You'll get used to the feeble attempts at humour. Or they will drive you mad and you'll go senile and join in. That's what happened to me. It could be worse: visit Talkbass where their idea of humour is to not actually light the flamethrower.

Does anyone other than @rwillett and @SamIAm have the slightest idea what language they are talking? A truly stunning bass though - I'm looking forward to when Rob takes orders, as I have a VBASS with a GK-B hex pickup setup that I want to permanently install in a bass, and this would absolutely look the biz!

The best of plus the last two albums should do you. Foo Fighters are one of those bands I admire more than I actually listen to, but I bet they are one hell of a live act.

When I play badly our PA guy has been known to mute me. In a loving spirit of fellowship of course 😅

Every sound engineer has a bad day - get one of the congregation to say the bass was too low ;-). If you have a digital desk then ask them to put limiters on the foldback outputs to protect the band - we had exactly the same experience as you did and the sound engineer at the time scurried off to the manual and set everyone up with volume limiters.

If you shot the video on a new iPhone then it defaults to a stupidly high resolution and 60fps frame rate. I think there is a settings change up in the top right where you can change the rate. Android will depend on the phone, but Samsung has an option under Advanced settings to use HEVC, which should reduce the size.
