  1. Absolute bargain! I'd be all over these if I was in the UK. I've used a friend's rumble 500 at gigs and they're superb. Especially given how little they weigh.
  2. Definitely not update related. Not done any updates here and I have it too. Android and Chrome browser. Looking at the posts above, it's happening in multiple operating systems and browsers, and only on Basschat.
  3. I had one of these a while ago. The neck was great. Played like a dream.
  4. Not yet. But it's on my watchlist. Gonna pull the trigger as soon as finances allow.
  5. Funnily enough that's the thing I like the most about it. I'm generally not a fan of Fender style headstocks. But the sunburst on this coupled with the gotoh tuners makes it look smaller and much tidier.
  6. I don't have one. Never had one. Never felt the need to own one, and certainly wouldn't pay the over inflated price for one. Maybe if someone was giving one away I'd have it. Then again, I'd probably sell it and buy something cheaper.
  7. I believe it's something to do with the colour of your finger.
  8. Don't get me wrong. I'd never buy an actual Fender. But Harley Benton are producing some absolute stonkers of late.
  9. Nothing wrong with the Veyron. They're absolutely stonking amps. And the triangle is a perfectly respectable instrument. TING!
  10. What's even worse is that I have recently developed a taste for Fender style basses. I honestly never saw that one coming in a million years. 😆
  11. Neither. They're both hideous. I love the latest Harley Benton offerings. But I wouldn't buy any of them because of the colours.
  12. I can't believe this thread is still going. I started it 3 and a half years ago when I was in a covers band. I hated learning new songs week after week then going out gigging every weekend. It just felt like to much of a daily grind and sucked all the fun out of it. I'm now in an originals band which is much more creative. We're all really good friends so weekly rehearsals are a social event and extremely enjoyable. I still get really nervous at gigs but mostly enjoy it. I wouldn't go bank to gigging every weekend though. A dozen gigs a year is plenty.
  13. Very nice! An absolute steal at that price.
  14. I don't think you'll have much luck selling it without any pictures.
  15. I can never make my mind up whether or not I like these, but that looks grand.
  16. It would be fairly cool to test the b3 and the b3n back to back. But with two lots of shipping and Brexit tax to pay it's just not worthwhile.
  17. Sonofabitch! I just paid £90 for a second hand B3 on Saturday. I wish you'd posted this a day earlier. 😢
  18. They're superb. I buy all my stuff from Thomann. I'm fact I've had a delivery today. I've also returned a couple of things, one bass and one electric drum kit, purely because I didn't like them. Absolute no problems.
  19. I'd struggle to slap the string spacing on a diddley bow. 😆
  20. That's looking absolutely superb!
  21. Looks interesting. Thanks for sharing. 👍
