2.
Or if you have the cash a Bergantino IP112 and the extension cab or an IP310, with the right pre can sound HUGE. Not in my experience. The IP310, with Aguilar, Ampeg and Avalon pres sounded amazing but not huge. Now, a good preamp with a powerful, reliable power amp, into a big cab, sounds huge.
3. You ain't gonna learn anything remotely funky by sitting in front of a computer, doing an "on-line course". Have a word with yourselves.
4. Lovely.
5.
It's easy to take sustain away by doing any of the things you mentioned, but it's much harder to add more if your bass doesn't already have it.
Amen.

9.
If you can, run the bottom of the bridge over a file of some sort. There might be some burrs on the bottom from manufacturing and it takes just a minute or so to get things smooth.
Stew Mac file envy.
10. Great playing, feel is blob on.
11. Sampled from the original bassline and fragmented in to 50 plus samples. I love this album. PS, Terry Jackson plays bass on this album.

16. I use to have an A8 that squeeked, still sounded good.
17. Ibanez Blazer bass, natural finish, left hand, into, a hifi!....until I blew the speakers. Then into a McGregor bassman 200 and HH 2x15. Sounded terrible but the bass was nice. Circa 1985.
