  6. UPDATE: Aesthetic fascia plate option:
  7. They wouldn't say that! They'd say "Hey, isn't that the Teebinator 5000™ - wow - I've never seen one before!". I'm happy to licence a version - you could call it the BinkyB 1.1™ I'm happy with this part!
  8. I like lying down! I'm full of 'em Twerp!
  9. Promethean was entirely mended by Matamp!
  10. Interesting - particularly the line Especially since the audience who attends shows by older stars has the deepest pockets, raising profits for everyone. “It’s a demographic that has some of the highest per capita income,” Brooks says. “If the rockers are ageing out, their customers are leaving the marketplace.” https://www.theguardian.com/music/2020/mar/02/music-rock-concerts-musicians-touring
  11. I'll have a look and see if I've got anything. Also, I'm visiting the MonsterzInLaw™ at Easter - they live in Fakenham, so can deliver to Lowestoft if anyone near me wants to donate.
  12. I like it
  13. You could very easily create a stable spacer to sit between the 2 cabs - timber 'H' shape that would separate the cabs, leaving the upper cab castors not quite touching the lower cab top. Spray black for aesthetics. EDIT: Maybe add rubber or foam to the spacer to prevent vibration / scuffing

Thanks to Basschat people who made me aware of these 👍

Compared to my old Elacins, the ACS definitily reduce Bass frequencies more than others, so not quite the flat attenuation I was expecting. Also, the filters can pop out when removing the plugs from your ears. I used a tiny smidge of superglue to avoid any mishap, overall, they do the job and I'm happy.
BTW, you can get these from the Musicians Union for £30 a set (members) and £40 a set for none members.......

mart3442, how do you get them for £40 as a none member? I have a pair but paid quite a bit more and thought they were worth every penny, so for £40 a spare pair could be invaluable!

  16. Mine too!

  18. Anything by Oasis. Ever.
  19. I thought he meant his head was too small for rock!
  20. Thanks @mrtcat I didn't realise that. I think I'll go with the crossover that DanDare suggested.
  21. I'm leaning towards @Dan Dare's suggestion of an active crossover, but does anyone have any views on the 'Aux Out' method, where you take a line out of the mixer via 'Aux' and have a dedicated mix just for the Sub? I realise that all frequencies are still going to the Speakers.
  22. That looks like a good solution. Thank you
  23. I'll have a look. Was aiming for cheap n' cheerful, but it needs to do the job properly, so not too concerned about spending a bit more. What is your Mackie?
