  1. Me too ๐Ÿ‘ Anything under 40mm is an absolute deal breaker.
  2. That's an old Kay, I am fairly sure. I bet it has a plywood neck.
  3. This is an undeniable fact. Long may it continue!
  4. Stagg EUB available if you need it @oldslapper
  5. Sorry to see this, but maybe confirms that you are making the right decision at this time. I hope you can still enjoy making music in some way though mate
  6. This afternoon/evening. Played for a friend's birthday, our biggest stage with this particular band and only the second with laptop backing tracks. My first time running the laptop and one minor hiccup but overall it was a great performance. We are in a good place and really enjoying it ๐Ÿ™‚
  7. I seem to have added 'Laptop operator' to my tasks! This is a great sounding rig.
  8. If you do end up replacing the neck I think a few of us would like to see what's going on under the fingerboard of the old one ๐Ÿ™‚
  9. This. Sounds like the rod has been overtightened and the wood has failed at the headstock end. Adding washers will only exacerbate the problem.
  10. I got in trouble for circumventing the c0ck filter on a Saab forum, they told me it was because it was a family forum and young kids might be reading. These are young kids that like Saabs but have never watched Top Gear, right? ๐Ÿ™„
  11. Cool bass ๐Ÿ˜Ž As seen here...
  12. This way round, for quicker changeovers on multi-act stages. You can simply unzip the bag and flip the top part underneath.
  13. I want to do a modern day version of Johnny Cash called Johnny Contactless
  14. It was a live band song long before Trevor Horn got involved.
  15. This is a cool version I'm pretty sure the original (live band, not studio) was played on a 4-string tuned to drop-D which is a bit easier.
  16. A bit of background about my entry. Recorded by my band Aimless Arrows in our luxury headquarters somewhere in West Wilts (ok, its a shed but its a posh shed) A cover of a Bob Dylan classic, our lead singer Simon arrived at practice - announced that he had learned it and that we should record it for fun. I didn't know the song but quickly cobbled together a bass part based off the chord structure and vocal melody. We laid that down pretty much straight away and that is what you hear now, this was the 3rd take iirc. As you can hear there are many vocal parts, also some festive sleigh bells! Vintage piano and sax (and drums) were programmed by Jeremy our lead guitar player and studio master.
  17. Hands down has to be Gaupa for me. I had no idea how much room I had in my life for the sound of Bjork does stoner rock.
  18. Thank you, it's set to public ๐Ÿ‘
  19. https://on.soundcloud.com/7YuzL A late entry from me
  20. Our band did a thing Also available on YouTube https://youtube.com/channel/UCx1NDcazqxUqWusgjocbkUw?si=hhjER86KusPxyTYF And many other platforms too!
