  1. Sadly after three strokes my memory is terrible!
  2. The guitar player seems to be singing slightly below the note.
  3. Just for interest, who the heck is Cici Powell?
  4. An average 2x10 is roughly equivalent to a 1x15. Where a 1x12 fits in I'm not sure. LOL
  5. Please tell me that you are using SpeakOn speaker cables and not the horrible cheap and nasty 1/4" jack plugs. Edit: Be well and don't try to do too much too soon. Your body needs time and rest to heal itself.
  6. Why not just have a backup SpeakOn cable. 1/4" phone jacks can be dangerous for your amplifier. If they get pulled slightly out the amplifier sees a short circuit!
  7. I have to admit that the wiring shown is absolutely terrible. In my mind a disaster waiting to happen. I still hope that the amp behaves itself!
  8. I have and it was an overdriven Fender Rhodes through a 100W amp and 4x12 right behind my head. My latest set of hearing aids cost me $6000 and I detest them!
  9. NL4 plugs will not fit into an NL2 socket that's true. I"ve yet to see an amp or speaker cabinet supplied with nL2 sockets. I prefer to use the right plug to connect to a socket. Always buy the proper Neutrik NL4 connectors. There's much less grief involved that way.
  10. Cleaning out my older stuff I have discovered some rack mount PA stuff that needs a new home. here we go: Carvin XC3000 CROSS OVER. Behringer Ultragraph PBQ150R two channel EQ Behringer Eurorack Pro RX1602 Korg tuner DTR 1000 Alesis 3630 I also have for the technically inclined some power amplifier assembled boards. Untested but should work with a suitable power supply. TA 3600 300W M3500 times two Any one who is interested in picking some of this stuff or even all of it please PM me.
  11. To add to the above. do not buy cables with NL2 connectors. Yes they will work but NL4 connectors are the standard through most manufacturers.
  12. So here we are on June 16 - What happened??
  13. Why not just pick up a Class D stereo power amp? It'll give you all the power you'll ever need.
  14. Just for interest what are you hoping a 100W amp will give you that you don't already have?
  15. I'm guessing t's referring to a SpeakOn cable. Normally a SpeakOn is wired +1 -! at both ends of the cable for regular use. To run the amp in Bridge mode, if the amp has two power amps, it would be wired +1 -1 at the speaker cabinet end and +1 +2 for the amp.. BTW a SpeakOn cable is all you should use with a high power amp.
  16. Stacked vertically they take up less stage area. That might be important at some gigs. Had a band leader who complained about my amp being so big. He also complained about my use of a Six String bass as if he could tell the difference on sound alone. Meanwhile he had a Bunch of instruments splayed around him that he actually never played! He was also the weakest member of the band! LOL
  17. Why would the bias level need to be adjusted. It's a set it once at initial power up and then leave the thing alone!.
  18. @Stofferson Stack those two on their ends for a vertical 4x10 for s further experience in delight. They'll work better out in the room and you'll be able to hear yourself way better!
  19. You're comparing gain structure from two different amp companies. You have to learn how to get the best out of the Ampeg.
  20. It was not a bad amp by any means, I just had no more need of it. I exchanged it with a one time friend for an old Peavey Mark III amp which I then shipped at my cost to a young player who needed it. Thus two players got a better amp than they had.
  21. I can see why they were left in a garage! LOL
  22. I had a Hartke 3500 for a while. When I was done with it I gave it away.
  23. @Linus27 I hope your new 'toy' brings you great pleasure and gives long service. Enjoy! ;D I have yet to have the pleasure of playing through a Mark Bass amp or a Barefaced cabinet.
