  3. That’s the kind of thing. Looks like that fretboard has been oiled way too much, it has truss rod sprout!
  4. That isn’t what we mostly appear to do.
  5. I was thinking thick chain, screwed into the body with eyelets (I’m sure some metal guitarist has one of those, maybe Zakk?).
  6. I can certainly see the strap pin holes becoming quite stretched.
  7. I’m stealing that!
  8. You’re intention was, and is, to play live. Your guitarist, and perhaps the singer too, don’t appear to be on the same page. Therefore, you need to find like minded individuals to achieve your goal. This is not always easy. Perhaps, keep this band going to keep your ‘playing in a band’ chops up and form/join/seek out another outlet that wants to gig or already is.
  9. Says 2023 on the the wrapper.
  10. There’s some sort of smutty comment to be had here, but I’m going to be strong and let it pass.
  11. Let’s Twist Again - Chubby Checker
  12. Marathon - Rush
  13. Having trouble justifying spending twice the money(ish), but thanks for the offer, I may still take you up on that. What changed your mind on it?
  14. Indeed. Now to get this particular product's quality to match their after sales service.
  15. Actually not bad and, given that we would shelling out wherever it's held anyway, I withdraw my objection. What I will be objecting to is the whole bloody hoopla of picking the 'winning' city that we are more than likely to be subjected to.
  16. Who pays for these boondoggles? If it’s the public purse in any way, shape or form, we should not be hosting it, given the current economic climate.

  18. Unfortunately, the anticipated delivery date for the LPB, P/J, Player series, Mustangs at Guitar Guitar of the 23rd of this month, seems to be optimistic and is now just 'available to order', with no projected date . To be fair, I'm not surprised, disappointed yes, but not surprised. However, I see that they have a Gibson SG bass with a few quid knocked off for a scratch on the neck. I've just listened to good few demos on YT and those, plus the great tone Andy Fraser achieved with one (Jack Bruce and Felix Pappalardi too, of course), has me wondering if this tardiness from Fender isn't a sign to cast my net further afield. They appear to be quite light by all accounts, so all good there, although there is the neck dive issue of course. Hmm...
  19. There’s a Guy Works Down the Kebab Shop - Kirsty MacColl
  20. The Chinese Way - Level 42

  22. I think we’d all like to see more pictures of that monster T’Bird.
