  1. Ben L’Oncle Soul…
  2. EB Cobalt flats are my go to on all my basses and they sound mighty fine on my JMJ.
  3. Although lumped together with spelling in primary schools under the acronym SPAG, grammar and spelling are two separate subjects. Thus, one of the grammar enforcement vehicles will not be paying you a visit. However, you haven't added a letter (or subtracted one), you have moved one, which now opens up the way for a 'Ruin a band name by moving one letter' thread.
  4. Look out for a Wilcock MM coming to the marketplace perhaps?
  5. Adam and the Paints
  6. If I knew someone with a 3D printer (or had one myself), I'd be all over this. Definitely an avenue a 3D printer owning, BCer might want to pursue for some extra income. Thanks for sharing.
  7. They are addictive.
  8. Be A Dentist - Steve Martin
  9. Wow! For a ‘new to the low end’ guitarist, you have some stellar gear there.
  10. I agree, it’s a nice touch and positively lovely compared to the everyday straight cut I’m used to.
  11. Santa Claws Is Coming To Town - Bruce Springsteen & others
  12. Prawn to be Wild - Steppenwolf
  13. Another Brixham in the Wall - Floyd
  14. Seven Seas of Rye - Queen
  15. That pickup selector is a brilliant idea, access to all the coil positions. If I was still living in Surrey, I’d be wanting to try this. GLWTS.
  16. Animal - Def Leppard
  17. Big Log - Robert Plant
  18. Let’s Stick Together - Canned Heat/Bryan Ferry
  19. Practise I guess, or just an ability to separate the two things mentally, rather like playing a syncopated bass line and singing at the same time. Although not in the same league, I was called on to sing Bowie’s China Girl. Couldn’t do it at first, but with lots and lots of practise behind closed doors, accompanied with lots of errors, I finally nailed it. Drummers and keyboard players have this separation as an essential part of what they do and then many sing as well. Flash buggers 😂
  20. The Bread’s Too Big Without You - The Police
  21. Drop C by all accounts. Here’s the analysis video that introduced me to Ms Cunningham.
  22. It was hearing David Byrne’s current bass player using one of these that sent me down the short scale rabbit hole. Sweet score, I’m rather envious.
  23. I follow Rhett Shull on YT and he posted a video about this singer songwriter. I quite like it, Joni Mitchell meets, er, The Meters, maybe? Anyway: Madison Cunningham…
