  1. Hartke cabs for me, have always worked well with Ampeg amps. Its a strange one as I have tried lots of cabs with an SVT3-Pro, it hated the Ampeg b115 and 410HE cabs but loved the Ashdown Mag 8x10. I currently own an Ampeg PF50T it sounds fab on my Hartke AK410 and HyDrive 112. I did though, have the opportunity to try it wth both and is what I would advise if thinking about change. Good luck, Andy
  2. Loving my PF50T and have just paired it with an Hartke HD112. Sounds incredible 🀭😱🀭🀘😎
  3. My PF50T is running through an Hartke AK410 beautifully. Gotta be careful though as live in a flat ...
  4. Remember I still have the two vintage style Rm-110 cabs
  5. Thought that myself! However, when trying it out with my pbass and BB714, the amp is thunderous. Rich deep vintage tones all waiting to be explored
  6. Changing the tubes in the CTM-15 makes a huge difference πŸ‘
  7. Ha ha aye, did you check to see if it was on mute? was great to meet you too Ewan, hope the journey went smoothly for you
  8. Aye that helps ha ha
  9. Aye its a good looking amp thats for sure, Can you hear the difference with the EH tubes?
  10. So glad you like it mate 😎
  11. Have pulled the trigger on a PF50T, hopefully its all I need ... for now

  13. Thought was pm'ing you there but have just added to your thread. Finding getting old a bit tough :DΒ If you still have the SVT3, happy to trade for an TB500?

  14. Interested, let me know if fella above doesn't take them
  15. Superb price and service. I don’t think it would have cost me that here in Edinburgh, probably more in the Β£100s. I’m very pleased to say the very least 😎🀘
  16. My TB500 came home yesterday. Required lots of repairs, email from Mikko: Hi. Just to let you know your Terror Bass 500 has been repaired and is ready to be sent back to you as soon as we've received payment. There were a few things wrong with your amplifier. The front of the amplifier had suffered some damage, the control panel was slightly bent and 3 control pots were snapped from the circuit board. They were still making slight contact so the controls were still sort of functional but that's where all that crackling was coming from. There was also a filter capacitor in the power supply circuit that had snapped off the board and it was making all sorts of crazy pops when turning the amp to standby or off. I've sorted all of this out, calibrated the clock frequencies and cleaned the pots and contacts. The total cost of the repair including labour, parts, shipping + VAT amounts to Β£47.40. You can pay this via debit/credit card or PayPal by calling our sales team on 0208 905 2828. Have to say, what a fab experience with Orange πŸ‘
  17. Aye and I definitely fit into the old slappers category
  18. is it as loud as the LB30 not the CTM30.
  19. Great stuff thinking I may be tempted too. A.
  20. The Mex headstocks are perfectly formed, it’s just something I prefer. πŸ‘
  21. There is a around 2-3mm in it, enough to notice. The American standard P is around the £1400 mark but appears to depreciate more than the Mex derivatives. 🀭
  22. It is crazy when you consider the US P price is lower. I loved my classic 50s, it got sold to pay for a car repair. The RW was stunning! But I’m really picky about the thickness of the headstock and the MIMs are to thin for my liking.
  23. Cheers for the replies folks πŸ‘ I’ve owned a Mex standard, classic and RW, all excellent in their own right especially the RW 😎 my gripe with the Mex Ps is the thickness of the headstock against the US P. If that was rectified, there would be little to no difference. I also know I’m being petty, picky and snobby! Lol πŸ˜‚
