  1. I went to the zoo there when I was 6 and saw the lion "Elsa" from the movie Born Free.
  2. I have it on good authority that this bass has now been sold and collected.
  3. That's the seller in Paignton who buys £250 Chickenbackers and offers them as "custom" basses at a healthy markup.
  4. That's oarful !
  5. It's in fair/used condition, y'know!
  6. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203753483970
  7. I might bid on that...
  8. I pinged a message earlier...
  9. What - only the small body basses?
  10. I'm not a fan of the thing where an angled end of the neck protrudes into the body.
  11. I'm thinking about buying one of those...
  12. Note that it is a lefty neck.
  13. It's a reverse buzzid!
  14. That'd be a good price for it, if it didn't have the extra pickup. It is missing the wooden block with the "S" on it from the tailpiece.
  15. So, in the classifieds we have the above-mentioned Music Man and OLP Tony Levins, someone saying they're selling a Yammy, and there's also a wooden-necked Status Graphite. They are used and maybe have seen some action, but they all look good value.
  16. Too bad I've got 3 Spirits already.
  17. I'm thinking of getting one of these for my stereo-wired basses. https://www.oldbloodnoise.com/pedals/split-meld
  18. It's either a Teisco or Sakkai Mokko, but not sure of the original brand. It's not a Kay, nor an Audition (Woolies' brand).
  19. The auction title says "VERY RARE"; I suspect that's because not many folks wanted to buy them.
  20. Fender had a bumpy Strat headstock for a while in the 70s.
  21. It's not the eyes the sharp bit is aiming for!
  22. Plays like butter(fly).
  23. It's been on here previously...
  24. FYI, I have this one for a project. Since it's incomplete and missing the logo, I could let it go at half-price - only £500 ovno...
