  1. I meant the Poly D. I'm no keyboard player, so would likely just noodle around and work out a couple of tunes. I'm not in real Moog territory (unless they're really cheap and/or it's a set of Taurus pedals at the same time as I have a pocketful of spare cash!).
  2. I have one of these and I really like it. My only issue is that I spend ages looking for a compatible keyboard and then they went and release the model with an integral one!
  3. Hmmm, it has its drawbacks.
  4. It's a Vox Clubman; the paint was really rubbish close-up. The body is mostly sanded back to the bare (ply)wood - I just need to get some red-lead to paint it with now!
  5. So, the WD40 is now unemployed...
  6. Following @Madein1962's comment, I think that the jack plate is the only item which hasn't changed! 🙂
  7. I think they've got 38 products at the moment, so 2 to go?
  8. What about the knobs and jack plate? 🙂
  9. OK, so now there's a mission to find it (was it TV, an interview, an album?).
  10. Well, that may be a fact, but the product features include penetrating and that's what it was commony known as. 🙂
  11. That's a ridiculous price for something which has been maimed in such a way! Mind you, I bought this lovely "Fender" at a car boot some years ago... (I still haven't got the refin done.)
  12. There was a can of WD-40 contact cleaner in the goody bag at the Screwfix Show last year. I don't think I've used it; I've still got a half-full Maplin one. It is one of a range of WD-40 products, but the name has tended to be a bit Hooverised to refer to the original penetrating oil. https://www.wd40.com/products/ (Back in the day, the bass guitar used to be called the The Fender Bass.)

  14. It is pure baloney, isn't it?
  15. Hmmm - could that go on a Ric copy project of mine...
  16. My main strap is one I had made for me by a leatherworker; it's a non-adjustable strip of leather made to my specified length with a Straplock at each end.
  17. The unattributed "owned by", which the seller admitted was tenuous: "The owner of the boat said he bought the boat off a member of the Womble and these were left on the boat"
  18. Good to see someone's on the case!
  19. I've never seen this before...
  20. Not sure it's a bargain - several have sold for that sort of money. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=sterling+ray34&_sacat=0&rt=nc&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1 There are a few offered at significantly higher prices, in the hope of people not twigging that Sterling is MM's equivalent brand to Fender's Squier.
  21. Rare = expensive (Whether or not it's worth it!) OTOH, new ones are £600! https://www.rosetti.co.uk/rickenbacker-vintage-reissue-case-4000-bass-series
  22. I've seen AI-generated descriptions in watch for sale ads too.
  23. I've seen that one for sale a few times - too rich for me, though.
  24. That description is utterly ridiculous. It's a shame the AI can't help them out by reading the headstock on this one... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/116000116589
