  1. Stop press! There might be "an accompanying youtube video to show the guitar a bit for sound and balance" coming!
  2. It's like an Attitude without the neck pickup, scalloped frets, dual outputs, angled neck screws, and pretty much everything that comprises an Attitude. Marketing licence with the Billy Sheehan brand! It'd be interesting to see how it reacts to bending the neck forward to do a drop-D!
  3. £1k for a Squier - uh-huh...
  4. I rather like a vintage Japanese Tokai - some of their stuff was really good. I've always thought of the Vintage brand as in the same bracket as Squier, Epiphone, etc. Dunno about the other one.
  5. Back again - it's like yesterday once more...
  6. That is remarkably awful.
  7. Well, she certainly had her fan base, but I never latched on to her; I found her a bit disparaging of the music I liked and a somewhat offputting on the OGWT. (I guess "passed" is a shortening of "passed away", which has been a term used for many years.)
  8. My interest in music peaked when I could download easily from Pirate Bay; I'd have a listen, buy the album, and often go and see a band. As the option withered away, so did my interest and I've not really got into watching on YT as much as I might've. The last band I saw was James Oliver at the Kempton Park Guitar Show - he was really good.
  9. Yep - that chap is me! Except I'd like them with cloverleaf keys...
  10. ...and we used to have to sweep the lake...
  11. Back then it was the norm to leave school and go onto the Dole.
  12. They are rubbish; both the guitar and bass versions. I’ve written about the ones I’ve had; I’ve now replaced failed and second attempt bass ones with a Hohner one and a failed guitar whammy one with a custom one from a chap in Ireland. They are copies of the Steinberger ones, but are made of Swiss cheese and not up to the job.
  13. £3k for an Ibernaise?
  14. £10k for a questionable looking 1963 MIM Fender.
  15. Yep - there wasn’t a fire sale going on. I did get a Tele pickguard which I needed for one of my projects, but they said most of it was going back. Shop floor stock was depleted and lots of boxes were out for shipping.
  16. I was in there today - they close Sunday week (the 14th).
  17. Oh, there's a thread about it...
  18. There's a poster on the door, at the desk, and they're in the process of packing things up. I had a bit of a chat with one of the folks there.
  19. OK, this isn't eBay, but as a homage to @TheGreek I've put it here 'cos they had this. Also, the Spinnaker looked a bit like an alien spaceship had landed. PMT is closing Sunday week (the 14th).
  20. It's streets ahead of others I've seen!
  21. It's either AI-generated or run through a translater.
  22. If you bring up the various coloured ones in separate tabs and select them in turn, they are the identical picture, just coloured. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/315038797956 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/315038774533 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/315036032343 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/315038818278 It's either a joke or a scam. Or perhaps they're placeholders for the seller to fill in later?
  23. £450 is a fair price. Interestingly, I'm going to Brizzle next week, but I think I'll give it a miss. I had one new back when they first came out; I sold it on when I bought a real Status Graphite.
  24. Tell the guitarist you're thinking of doing the solos in a couple of songs.
  25. I've always wondered why Jesus had a Mexican name...
