    I've got an Aria PE Elite guitar - it's quite nice. OK, so it's not an original 70s PE-1000, but I'll manage to live with the disappointment.

    FYI, I've got two of these (each cost me a fiver more than the asking price here); one made an appearance at the recent SE Bass Bash and seemed to be alright.

    That control panel is a bit mediocre, isn't it...

    And here it is, the lighter bodied one on the right. The strings are dull as ditchwater though, so I'll be needing a new set ASAP.

    They're nice basses - I nearly had a go on one in a shop on the weekend, but I was pushed for time (and it didn't have a price label on it).
