Is there a pedal that would drop my tuning by a whole tone? If so, which ones are worth looking at? I’d like something that doesn’t change the tone much, just drop the E string (tuner to D) to C on a 4 string.

I travel with a gig bag and no problems so far, the only theoretical minus being buying extra seat on the plane, so depending where you’re going, can get pricey. If I was going to detach the neck - I would just do it, it doesn’t really take that long to put everything back together.

I think @Chimike has something like this. Maybe he’ll visit this thread...

Ok, so I had my custom bass made and although I still don't actually have it - I already have the pictures, so sharing time! The wooden parts are Japanese but everything was hand finished in Poland. It features: - 3 piece alder body - maple neck with black blocks and binding - nitrocellulose finish - Gotoh tuners, vintage style bridge - DiMarzio pickups - CTS Pots It was relic'ed slightly as you can see but this bass is brand new.

P Bass, it’s a yes from me. I don’t get why so many people on here hate Scott’s videos. If you watched one and it whizzed you off, don’t watch another one. It is that simple. On the other hand, I bet a lot of people hating Scott would swap their job for his in a blink of an eye. And then, it doesn’t matter that they have to make a 12 minute video to put up on YT, hell, they’d probably make two!
