  1. You can get what you need to be a great bass player from the free YT lessons. SBL is the way to go if you want to take your bass playing into next level 😉

Will bought my Aguilar AG700, lovely chat, straight forward, nice and easy. Can not recommend him enough. Pleasure to do business with. Thank you Gilly!
  3. @Hellzero I see your point. However, the way I see it is that doing such a course with Gary Willis, costs money, making a living costs money and that’s what Scott is doing. To have 10h of material for the price of 2 lessons with Gary (without the commute to Barcelona 🙂 ) - a lot of people will benefit from it. I’m a member at SBL also and it feels like there’s too much stuff. I don’t have enough time to do another course on top of it (I have to look at Basses for sale section 😋)!
  4. I think, it’s fair to say that you do.
  5. Very nice! Wish you had more hands, huh?
  6. Chris bought a set of strings from me - quick and easy, instant payment. Thank you Sir!
  7. ajee64 (Jean Philippe) bought my Bergantino cab. Instant payment, no problems at all, very responsive. He’s new on here but please do not hesitate to deal with him. Thanks!
  8. I did before I think, but they quickly disappeared. Now I know why. Cheeky - it was an 1980’s Aria in Cardiff for around £400...
  9. I’ve posted a link and then noticed links to gumtree are not allowed...
  10. My favourite flats (just after TI’s 😉) but I only have one P bass at the moment, so here we go. Bought brand new from Thomann a month ago, my P bass had them for 3 weeks, total playing time around 10h maybe. They are not even slightly broken in yet. Grab yourself a bargain. Price includes postage to UK.
  11. Love it, one of the best bands. Although, I must say if I listen to them for a week non stop - I can’t stop noticing how produced it is. Sounds almost sterile after a while. That’s probably why their music is commonly used to test audiophile gear...
  12. Just bought a small rig from Marc. Super easy transaction. We’ve had some logistics to figure out and he was super helpful. Yet another perfect transaction. Thank you Marc, thank you BassChat 🙂
  13. KSD 5 string jazz bass for sale. I bought it for a project but passive Precision bass does the job better. This Bass was purchased on here, here’s the original thread: https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/334151-ksd-proto-j-5-in-white-with-aguilar-pickups-now-sold/ I’ve changed the strings to Dunlop Marcus Miller signature. Sounds as it should with the Aguilar pickups. The bass had PLEK done by @Steff and it’s possible to set the action ridiculously low without buzz, if that’s your thing. I’m not looking for any particular trades but please do message me if you have something in mind (4 string preferably).
  14. I thought he puts tape on the pole pieces sometimes to stop it reacting when he hits the strings with his “percussive ghost notes”, but I’m not not sure about that. I’ve seen him do it on a P bass too.
  15. TI’s and Labella 760FL are my favourites for a P bass. TI’s for jazz bass too. Chromes are also great, but I didn’t like the 50-110 version. So yeah, Thomastik 🙂
