  1. Alex bought an amp from me. Paid upfront and then arranged a courier to come and pick it up - very easy communication and really cool to deal with. Thanks!
  2. When you list an item - you get the option next to the ''reply to this topic'' button that says ''bump this topic''. You can click it every 36h(?) or so.
  3. To be honest, I don’t think it’s that heavy - it’s just where I live/keep it I have a very narrow stairway and it’s a real gymnastics to get* it up on my own... *carry
  4. Sold my Yamaha to Fraser, quick and easy transaction, instant payment, just what you’d expect from a BC member. Thanks!
  5. Got a couple gentleman interested already but please feel free to PM me what you have.
  6. Bought it from @ChunkyMunky not that long ago but I’m looking for something slightly smaller. Any interest in this? I’m sure a lot of you know how lovely it sounds... Located in Portsmouth, Hampshire and I’m willing to deliver within reason (especially keen on trips to the west as there’s something there I want). Let me know. Here’s the original thread: https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/330889-swr-redhead-2x10-combo-sold/ And the pictures...
  7. Sweet American Jesus, these don’t come up often. And I don’t think I’ve seen one in this condition. Ever. Good luck with the sale!
  8. Back up for sale.
  9. Silky smooth.
  10. Sold, thanks!
  11. I like it too!
  12. Good luck with that. Just for the record, not interested in this kind of trades...
  13. I didn’t know exactly how to price this as it vary a lot online. I thought £550 is reasonable.
  14. Totally agree. Thank you for commenting on my bass. 2.288 watts. It's an honor Sir 🙂 I'll give you another one.
  15. I admit this was a great find. If I was a collector, this wouldn't be going anywhere. Unfortunately, I'm just a simple (GAS fueled) man...
  16. Way too much time spent on Gumtree 🙂
  17. Hello, this is a lovely example of the old Japanese Yamaha BB1000. The condition for its age (40 years now!) is unbelievable. Only few superficial marks here and there, visible on close inspection. I’ve always wanted one and when this became available - I bought it instantly. The seller was the first owner, purchased from a shop in 1980 or something like that. So, I’m the second owner. This bass is gorgeous, looks fantastic and plays really well. The fretboard is flater than normal vintage Fender P. And frets are a bit thicker. Very “woody” sound. Whether with flats or rounds - it sounds like a super P Bass. Pickups are really hot, but silent when not played, which I really like. Weight is around 4.2kg I think (I don’t have a digital scale), we’ll balanced and doesn’t feel heavy on the shoulder. Comes with original hard case and all the goodies like a leaflet, strap and all the tools you need to tweak the bass. Also included a really old set of LaBella round wound strings, useless but I think it’s cool. Here are some pictures for you...
  18. I'm not aware of this bass model.
  19. Cheers Nik. As long as it's listed for sale, I don't feel like it's just sitting at home. So, I'm hoping that another project will come up before it sells, so I get to keep it 🙂
  20. I got a bargain from Nik, passing it on 🙂
  21. Hang on... This is not a bass! Wrong category... Sorry!
  22. Got it from @silverfoxnik along with the Bergantino cab (https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/332238-bergantino-ae212-cab-with-cover/). I'm lucky enough to have played some nice amps and this one is super cool. It's dimensions are a big advantage. It's small, looks cool, sounds huge. Paired with that Berg cab, they make a lovely couple. 500 Watt at 4ohm. It can be easily posted. Based in Portsmouth and willing to deliver within reason. Original post: Some pictures from me:
  23. I bought this cab from @silverfoxnik a little while ago. Fantastic, articulate sound and doesn't weigh much. I could go on about how amazing it is but I'm sure you all know. I just don't use it. I bought it for a project that didn't happen. Based in Portsmouth, willing to drive within reason. So... here goes.
