  1. Yeah, I guess. To me, it means to have the same feel, make the drummer sound good and just to sort of ''lock in'' to create this lovely thing called ''rhythm section''.
  2. Scott.
  3. It is extra money and it has to be spent in one go - it is quite an expense. But on the other hand, it blows my mind how cheap it is. 6 months = 18 weeks / 18 lessons or so. Let’s say the course is $150, that’s just over $8 per lesson. Where can you get lessons that cheap from such a great teacher? Obviously, some people prefer face to face. I don’t think I do. I won’t be signing up for the technique accelerator.
  4. If Scott’s going to do a lesson a week for 6 months or so, it has to be worth his while...
  5. Just checked the serial number and it's actually 1978!
  6. Picked this up today. Looks rather lovely but needs a lot of love. Cleaning, moisturising, massaging... part of the fun I guess. Original case and all the case candy is there too. Even some vintage LaBella strings, unusable but cool.
  7. Sold some strings to Chris, super quick and easy. Thanks a lot!
  8. Julian bought some strings from me - super quick and easy transaction, thanks a lot!
  9. How do they make the ''fake gunk'' around the frets? Brilliant 🙂
  10. Maybe he meant the neck - the width is between the P and J. But yeah, I was expecting a lovely P/J bass too 🙂
  11. Going away for a week - might be late with replying to messages.
  12. Fresh, still warm.
  13. I wish I was. I am away on holidays then though...
  14. Possible trade for a cheaper P Bass/J Bass with cash my way.
  15. Thomastik flats - brand new, slightly damaged packaging but strings untouched. Thanks!
  16. Virtually brand new, they have been on the bass for about 1h total. Really nice and mellow feel - probably one of the most pleasant tones from a round wound - no buzzy zing, really rich and defined lows. At the end of the day - my favorite string brand - can't go wrong with them 🙂 Only the E string has been cut very slightly to fit on the tuning peg, so will fit any bass. Thanks!

    Feedback for Aero71

Got some pickguards from Marinus - really quick postage and a nice guy as always. Thanks!
  18. Lovely bass. ”flat rounds”?

    SOLD

''No trades'' makes me sad. What a stunning bass, oh...
  20. Oh it is Sir! The pickguard has something to do with it I'd imagine 🙂
  21. I weighed it on 2 different scales. Unfortunately, none of them is super accurate. I would say the bass is somewhere around 4kg. I don't think it weighs more than 4.1kg. I hope this helps. It is by far the lightest jazz bass I've had.
  22. Around 4kg, I’ll let you know exactly when I get back home. Cheers
