  1. My bandmates and I are looking into remote rehearsals with jamkazam. How’s this working out with others ?
  2. I’d have a hard time justifying another amp to the missus what with no gigs and 3 other amps sitting idle. I got away with the last Spyder 550 - just 😅 A CTM-300 will be awesome !
  3. Sorry , just twigged that you bought the CTM300 in 80s beige settee 😂😂, ya you need to shift some gear mate, are you married 😬😫😂
  4. Similarly I’ve an old Trace and I think they were tailor made for the musicman stingray . That metallicy scooped trouser flapping sound of indie 90s, think fugazi, ride, fall etc.
  5. Ah man , I’m gonna have restless sleeps now 😫😫😫
  6. They look seriously cool , 4 x 6L6?
  7. I saw your ad out of curiosity, way too little ...does this mean you’re selling the HB-100 then 🤔🤔🤔🤔
  8. They go hand in hand with p style Basses I think
  9. I nearly sold an old Trace that needed a little work for peanuts last week and just had second thoughts at the last minute . Glad I did now .
  10. I’d nearly withdraw is until things pick up a bit otherwise you might sell it for a song and regret it later , that’s if you can afford not to sell it. That’s just my opinion . Great amps , I have one myself
  11. It’s a bad time to sell anything Walshy
  12. Will do but for the moment will probably use this as #1 gigging amp, it has the perfect mix of tone , power, ruggedness simplicity (important for me - me not so smart) and practicality (it’s a bit heavy but not too bad) but you never know, I might spot something that I “absolutely must have” and need funds quickly.
  13. I actually bought one from Merton there before Christmas and it’s a gem of an amp. Had an LB-30 many moons ago. Great sounding amp but don’t expect a clean tone at gigging volumes. I think the CTM100 probably has the best of options
  14. I’ve decided to go and get some of my old Trace gear fixed up and restored in an attempt to distract myself from all this Ashdown NOS malarkey 😬.
  15. AH-500/7 gone off for an auld service. Foot pedal not working (never use it but that’s not the point) and a bit of a blowey sound on initial power on ...dunno what that is so getting tech to check all the points caps transistors etc. I think it needs some TLC. Don’t really know what to do with it after that 🤷‍♂️. It is a bit of a beast and a sledgehammer of an amp. A bit past the pure Trace era (built in UK under the Peavey umbrella) but a really great sounding amp.
  16. I know , it’s a pretty reasonable price isn’t it 🤔 I just don’t think I could live with a 427w, 35kg behemoth. Think of the cost of s service...you’re talking £200-300 just to replace the power valves . Oh but it’s a thing of beauty 😫
  17. Ashdown 427 Small Block Ashdown 427 Small Block https://reverb.com/item/18725709-ashdown-427-small-block?utm_source=rev-ios-app&utm_medium=ios-share&utm_campaign=listing&utm_content=18725709
  18. I believe it’s in reverb.com. I see a LB-30 and the 424 small block . These aren’t the NOS builds but the 427 amp on that side looks superb 😘. Some store in Italy
  19. I dunno , here I differ , I’m not crazy about having the internals exposed like that, much like the ampeg 20t, 50t amps . I much rather a traditional ‘cabinet’ and everything enclosed in a sturdy box. Each to their own I guess
  20. I think the Doom rocker and amp repair guy Oli Foxen from Bristol has 2 or 3 of them
  21. I’m Gonna find it really difficult to resist an LB-30 if one surfaces from these NOS builds 😫
  22. Really envious,...just wasn’t meant to be this time. I buy the CTM-30 from you Matty 😂😂
  23. I had one years ago ...prefer separate stomp boxes
