  1. Yeah - dunno if I’m making a big mistake 😬
  2. My amp tech was baiting me with his newly serviced SVT Ampeg yesterday . ....why oh why😫
  3. I’m actually in the process of clearing out dead weight and unused items . Haven’t bought anything if significance yet this year ...but it just takes one ad. It’s a more difficult to shift things I find . Trying to get out of that vicious cycle of losing money all the time
  4. The funny thing is it’s my bandmates favorite amp 🤷‍♂️. Its just the right kinda loud.
  5. I don’t think any amp is going to be 100% bulletproof but I can vouch for Ashdown. You could text Mark Godday in the middle of the night with a problem and he’d sort you no questions asked . I’m 1/2 thinking about keeping my trace if I get no respectable offers TBH . It’s a great sounding amp
  6. I’ve an older 215 cabs and it’s amazing. Especially with lower wattage amps like my CTM100. It’s so efficient.
  7. ‘ Be great for a 70s type rock band
  8. Do you have the specs of that component? actually found it 😂
  9. Mid 2000's Trace Elliott AH500-7 (Made in UK). 7-Band EQ, 500w (4ohm), 350w (8ohm). Pre-Shape, Compressor. Foot Switch. Amp is overall in great nick. Amp has now been fully serviced by AlphaSounds, Tramore Waterford. New speakon connection installed. Contact me for shipping details.
  10. This amp was returned to me from a fellow Bass chatter with a power up fault. It has been assessed by the main amp Tech at Alpha Sounds, Tramore Ireland. The amp needs a new power supply section, other than that the amp is fine. Sounds great and is super compact. A fixer upper for someone. Contact me for postal cost.
  11. The only real repair work was a new speakon socket and he reinforced some connections linking the preamp to the power amp. Recommended a new footpedal lead but otherwise all it good with it. Does the trace thing in spades, not too heavy and doesn’t have that horrible trace rat fur. Will sell it for a reasonable price . My head wants to go down the minimalist route of 2 amps but I’ve seen a CTM30 that is really nagging me ☹️
  12. Did you use rude slag like “playing with our todgers”
  13. Boredom led me to figure out a song that’s been nagging me for years . Namely the “numbers Counting song” from 70’s Sesame Street. “Hair” is another funky one that’s really bothering me , I think Scott has a video on it ...not sure if I’m up to it tho
  14. All sorted ...will probably sell here shortly.
  15. If you wanted something cheap and cheerful a hybrid like a second hand Orange Terror bass, they’re not the quietest Amps but do that rock grind thingy and there’s a load of them around for about £300-350. Just make sure that power fault that plagues the early models has been addressed. I recently acquired an Ashdown Spyder 550, basic passive EQ with solid state power section . Does that Jean-Jacques Brunel dirty p bass thing a treat ! I think you don’t want a higher end class D amp like a Glockenklang or EBS
  16. My bandmates and I are looking into remote rehearsals with jamkazam. How’s this working out with others ?
  17. I’d have a hard time justifying another amp to the missus what with no gigs and 3 other amps sitting idle. I got away with the last Spyder 550 - just 😅 A CTM-300 will be awesome !
  18. Sorry , just twigged that you bought the CTM300 in 80s beige settee 😂😂, ya you need to shift some gear mate, are you married 😬😫😂
  19. Similarly I’ve an old Trace and I think they were tailor made for the musicman stingray . That metallicy scooped trouser flapping sound of indie 90s, think fugazi, ride, fall etc.
  20. Ah man , I’m gonna have restless sleeps now 😫😫😫
  21. They look seriously cool , 4 x 6L6?
  22. I saw your ad out of curiosity, way too little ...does this mean you’re selling the HB-100 then 🤔🤔🤔🤔
