Looks very interesting Kramer. Just cannot get my head around why it has 8 machine heads yet only 4 strings... Pickups looks seriously meaty. ANyonye every heard one of these? https://reverb.com/item/9878913-1980-kramer-xl8-sweet-vintage-bass-with-original-case

Why are three of the height adjustment saddles missing?

If you like Ritters or intonation I would steer well clear! I mean the bridge is angled the wrong bloody way ffs! How do get to the stage where you can build an otherwise reasonable looking instrument and bugger up the foundations so badly...

The company or that model? I've heard of Reverend before assuming it's the same Reverend responsible for the Rumblefish model

PRICE DROP TO £500 DELIVERED IN MAINLAND UK! Shipping to most of the EU is £35.00 Up for sale is a MTD Kingston Z5, otherwise known as an MTD KZ5. It is in excellent condition with only a couple of minor marks as can be seen in the photos (small ding on the side of the fretboard and a couple of marks on the top of the headstock. there is also some signs of string rub on the top of the pickups but this is hard to capture in photographs). I have taken many photos in different light to try and show you the full detail and beauty of this bass. if you need any more photos please let me know. This is a very verstaile and comfortable bass that plays like a dream thanks to the asymetric neck profile, comfortable string spacing and incredibly light weight of 3.8kg! It comes complete with a deluxe padded MTD gigbag. It can be posted with insurance within the UK for £25 and European Union for £45 - it will be packaged in a double bass shipping box with added packaging. Here's Andy Irvine putting a 6 string version through it's paces: FEATURES BENEFITS

Im not shooting anyone down im offering a different point of view from someone who doesn't have an axe to grind against Warwick. My post in reply to TheGreek was sarcastic and i thought that should have been obvious as i did start the second para with "on a serious note". If I offended anyone then I apologise. As for the Aus guy selling them at a more realistic price, well sorry but Warwick have these manufactured for them so the only way the guy can buy them is through Warwick or a Warwick distributor. The only distributor I've ever seen sell cheaper than Warwick is Thomann and they don't sell these. Now considering the other Warwick items the same seller is selling are both more expensive than buying from either Warwick and Thomann I will stick with my initial opinion...

The break runs down to about 4th or 5th fret in the back of the neck so you would lose an awful lot of scale length, maybe 5 or 6 inches at a guess. Also you would need an entire refret or new fretboard for that to work as well as all the headless bits like bridge and neck plate etc. Really it is only worth the value of the components which is £200 tops if the bridge is solid brass and not alloy

what is your point? the guy in Aus could be selling at a loss to get rid of stock/unwanted item.

Yes you can buy replacement truss rod covers from the Warwick shop. They sell them to everyone except TheGreek who they tell they have run out of stock or ship him the wrong one just to spite him On a serious note, i have only ever had excellent customer service from Warwick. I once phoned them, i cant remeber why, but HPW himself answered the phone!
