  1. looks a bargain
  2. wow that was a spot of luck lol. Re. price, its very tricky esp with Warwicks. Yours is a rather unusual/rare one that is definitely a cut above the usual LXs and in very good nick. It's rarity can demand a higher price for the right person but will also make people looking for a "regular" LX shy away as it will be almost 3 times the price. It may be that advertising it on Ebay and or Reverb with International shipping available will help you find the right buyer for it due to their much wider and more global audience(no disrespect meant to BC)
  3. The controls are curious. I see the two smaller toggles are for coil selection on each of the pups but the larger toggle is a 3-way for pup selection? strange as the pots seem to be: stacked volume/blend, mid, stacked treb/bass? is this right? just seems weird to have 3 way toggle for pup selection and a blend pot. probably just me getting it completely wrong...
  4. ah ok so twin jazz pup like in the bridge pos of my Infinity SN TCS. Cracking pups with a phat but hi-def sound
  5. no doubt it is mate. that grain on the back of the headstock is unmistakable
  6. well the Barts are an option from Warwick as well and I love them in my Streamer in which they were factory fit.
  7. lovely, not seen a 6 string BO with a Wenge neck before! that must have been an expensive option at the time knowing Warwick
  8. Jesus wept, what has happened here??? https://reverb.com/item/9692862-warwick-streamer-1994-6-string-bass-modified Never mind the top horn, look at the bloody neck joint fiasco. something about the rest of it doesnt seem right to me either.
  9. leave this one mate, the repair would be very difficult as there is a lot of wood missing when you compare the headstock to the remains of the neck. it's worth £100 for the parts IMO
  10. Sale preferred but trades of equal or lesser value(with cash my way) considered.
  11. As his mastery of photography...
  12. Wow that's very pretty! Which pups are they? They look MM size but the only ones I've seen Warwick use are shaped differently...
  13. its a pro II mate. totally legit and a very decent bass in it's own right if not on the same level as a Pro I. Built in Japan i believe using German hardware and electronics
  14. definitely german made(this time lol) and very cheap: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Left-hand-Warwick-Corvette-bass/183033227091?hash=item2a9da16753:g:sHYAAOSwRTVaZ082
  15. I would say the casting was less the mutt's nuts and more the mules'...
  16. Nasty looking machineheads and just cheap looking in general with the mock MY build. Not like the later nasty Vantage basses with the set necks and terrible bridges...
  17. Sexy bass!
  18. When you say they are too big do you mean they won't for through the holes in the headstock? If that is the case you will need to tell us the diameter of the holes so we can advise suitably. I take it you aren't keen to drill the holes to increase their diameter to for your existing machineheads? Photscould also help
  19. Don't these suffer from truss rod issues?
  20. Every day is a school day! To be fair though I dont think Warwick would have put their name to the Chinese made one's if they were bad so 200 I would have thought would be a reasonable price? Be interested to hear if that's not the case though...
