  1. Boss TU-3 Tuner Pedal In as new condition, never gigged or even left the house. Not a single mark on the pedal. In full working order and comes with the box and manual. £50 plus postage.
  2. How Dart you suggest so!
  3. haha close but to me it looks more like a Stu Zander or maybe a Pike Durnt...
  4. sorted now - thanks very much Steve
  5. Hi Mods, I had a for sale thread for my Grado headphones in the "everything else" section but chose to "hide" it and added the message "please move to the 'other musically related' section". The thread has been hidden but not moved - is there any way this can still be moved or do I need to start a new thread? regards, Chris
  6. not necessarily. random storage unit is broken in to and emptied of anything that looks valuable. just because we know they are of high value doesnt mean the thieving scum would have known it but just took them along with everything esle in the unit...
  7. The mystery is how Hohner could have let that 3+1 attempt out the factory looking like that. And what about the mess surrounding the nut? Looks like it was glued back on using wood putty! Also, why do none the strings have a straight angle to any of the tuners?
  8. Many people make the same mistake re. What he is known for. His fingerstyle playing, especially fretless, is where the real magic happens for me.
  9. sounds like she is a bit of a nightmare and needs careful management. you want to keep her happy but not pander to her every whim. SO by all means agree to turn it down or use headphones this week but let her know you are helping her out and that you would like her to return the courtesy by not having shouting matches late at night while your toddler is sleeping. Give them an inch and they take a mile so make sure you get an inch back every now and then
  10. If you look at the pic on the greeting card it has a similar layout to the ebay one. the break angle to the G doesnt look quite as severe. Can you see what I mean about the head looks transplanted? See the mess just after the nut and also the trussrod looks about 2" too long for the neck!
  11. but which model is it? googling "Hohner B425" shows bugger all results...
  12. how did you find out it was this model? I looked through loads of images of the model shown in the original ebay listing with no joy...
  13. you're right. its bugging me too. looking closely at the headstock from front on it looks like it has been transplanted from another bass. none of the tuning pegs are properly in line(look at them compared to the protruding truss rod). Either its a transplanted head from another bass and the decals transferred, or the neck was broken, made shorter, then the headstock glued back on resulting in the protruding truss rod. either way, I wouldnt touch this. also, all the Hohner Arbor MX1s I can see are P pup at the neck and no fron electronics cavity cover. this probably explains the odd looking MM style pickguard too.
  14. Seems very cheap for such a stunning high-end Spector? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stuart-Spector-USA-Bass-NS-JH5-Spalted-Maple-5-String/173029338650?_trkparms=aid%3D777003%26algo%3DDISCL.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D49129%26meid%3De4fa18ae4df84ab086a2999fb4524833%26pid%3D100012%26rk%3D6%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D152796589701&_trksid=p2047675.c100012.m1985

  19. thanks guys, she sure is pretty but adly not enough strings for me. this is now for sale btw:
  20. many, many people would disagree with you strongly on this. it also has absolutely zero bearing on the merit of the case
  21. that is insane! looks like a ridiculous amount of bass for the money. the constuction, versatility and wood choice looks to rival and high-end boutique manufacturer!
  22. SIngle ESI Aktiv 08 studio monitor in excellent condition. This has been improved with sound deadening material added to the inside of the cabinet(so its significantly heavier than the weight listed below), there are also isolation pods attached to the underside. These are well specced and high quality monitors and sold for 145Euro new only a couple years ago. This one has had little use. Can post anywhere in mainland UK for £15 fully insured. Details from the website: Intended as sucessor for the popular nEar08 eXperience, the aktiv 08 studio near field reference monitor has been developed to offer the best 8" monitoring solution for the entry level. With an extended low frequency response and a top quality kevlar 8" driver, our aktiv 08 delivers unparalleled punch in the low-mid frequency - a major improvement over the paper and polypropylene drivers used in many comparable products.Compared to the previous generation, the aktiv 08 is build with a new tuning by our engineers in Germany, a higher quality silk dome tweeter and it also integrates a completely new design of the crossover circuitry. This gives aktiv 08 the pole position in the area of professional level studio monitoring if you are on a budget and won't accept a compromise on quality and sound. All this makes aktiv 08 the perfect alternative to our top selling uniK 08 reference monitor if you are on a budget.
