  1. The finish is Amber Sunburst IIRC. I only know this as i had a 4 string with the same finish which had the model number TRB4II AS. Incredible basses and this is a bargain
  2. Best looking streamer stage 1 i have ever seen and i own a good looking one!
  3. Incredible bass and fantastic playing!
  4. At least now i know that the 'F' in 'F Holes' actually stands for Felt-tip pen! 😮
  5. Those Schaller machineheads are worth more than the starting bid alone!
  6. No worries. So is this bass painted or is it poly coated? Ah ok, thought it would have been the same as my Stage 1 but you live and learn.
  7. However i have owned a painted(well thick black poly coat) stage 1 of this same era which had no serial what so ever when that poly was stripped back. Also, the trim pot, imo actually controls (boost/cut)the mids not the overall output.
  8. Looks excellent VFM. Build quality looks first rate and the hardware and electronics are very nice. GLWTS
  9. Yet his reply to binkybass clearly shows he has no interest in not trying to deceive people Great so intimidation is what you use to teach lessons. Awesome, youve won the internet
  10. So you haven't read this thread - in particular the replies the seller has sent to questions posed to him - he knows exactly what he is doing and that is trying to deceive people. Now you have bought items on my eBay account you have no intention of paying for and also tried to intimidate me. You seem to be as much of a c@nt as the seller
  11. Omg the douchebag is trying to threaten/intimidate me. He just created a new account and "bought" a few of my items then sent me a message saying "want to buy a thunderbird" Next message was Dudley, and my date of birth. What a stellar chap!
  12. Well ive just outbid you and everyone else at a cool 50K
  13. Incredible bass - was my first proper bass - i bought ex demo back in 2000. Excellent build quality, very comfortable and easy to play and plenty of punch from the pickups and active circuitry. Cant believe how good the condition of this bass is for 20 years old! GLWTS
  14. Try gear4music the 5 string sets are £13.50 inc postage: https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Warwick-46300-Red-Label-Medium-Light-Bass-Strings-40-130-5-String/NES?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=order-dispatch&utm_content=ord-line&utm_source=txn-email Great strings and have replaced D'addarios for me
  15. Well at least you managed to stop referring to yourself in third person in this post....
  16. One of the only basses I regret selling. These represent incredible VFM as they sound amazing - with the controls providing plenty flexibility. They are also very easy to play and very ergonomical. GLWTS
  17. Unless that someone famous is also an egotistical, talentless bellend...
  18. Wow, that fretboard is sexy! Looks like good VFM to me! GLWTS
  19. The resistors will be there for a reason. No manufacturer adds cost and complexity without good reason. Could it be to balance the circuit? Best thing is to email Warwick and ask them. Likely you will get a reply from Hans Peter Wilfer himself and he is incredibly helpful. When you email Warwick take photos of the front and back of the bass and the control cavity and serial number. This way you should be able to get a complete history of the bass.
  20. I have a spare 5 string black tailpiece which I had filed to widen the B string slot to overcome this issue. I know you have gold hardware but if you want a cheap fix, you can have this tail piece for a tenner inc post. I know use Warwick Red Label strings instead of D'addarios so I don't have this issue any more.
  21. Don't normally like single cuts but this is very tasteful and rather sexy.
  22. The neck wood is almost certainly maple. The grain and flaming give it away. The fretboard looks to rosewood but I could be wrong. It could help to list the string spacing at the bridge as it looks very tight - in fact it doesn't look to deviate much from nut to bridge... GLWTS
  23. Not surprised this sold so quick, what bargain for such an incredible instrument!
