1. still conisdering this bump
2. I love this thing, but I want to expand my horizons, only looking to trade for another head at the moment. Tradewise i'm open to anything, hit me up with offers, i'd love something with tubes in it (full or hybrid, not bothered), but i realise that's probably not gonna happen at this pricepoint, might be able to add a wee bit of cash for the right thing Only limit is i'm after at least 200w into 8ohm (unless it's a tube head of course). I'll get pics up tommorow when i'm slightly less drunk, i'm in canterbury for collection but could do a meetup within an hour or so's train ride (i get free trains). I'm not looking to get rid of this so I may very well change my mind and not interetd in a cash sale yet. EDIT: Withdrawn for now, had a jam tonight and the sound was just perfect, if you want to do a straight swap for a tube amp i'd still be interested, but otherwise withdrawn
3. Red LED's are just more common (I think because they're cheaper to make and use less power but don't quote me on that), some have blue, some have green, one of mines yellow, no real mystery to it
4. Instrument leads aren't designed to carry anywhere near the current an amp head puts out, if it's a powerful head, it could melt the cable and completely bugger up the head. I think.
5. I'd say a bass terror is a very good way to go, lightweight, puts out a lot of power, and its a hybrid, so you get the awesome tone of a tube amp with none of the downsides (blown power tubes draining your life savings one by one)
6. Looks a lot like a wal to me, which is nought but a good thing
7. Wrong forum dude, PM a mod and they'll move it for you
8. Finally got the rest of the bits for my GGG muff ordered, assuming royal fail cooperate, I'm gonna give it a shot over the weekend, I'll let you know how it goes/how many things I set fire to

Pedal order!
what does a synth count as?
Dang, knew I forgot something. I consider synths as just a blend of octaver filter and distortion/fuzz (because that's all most of them are, especially the BMS). Your pedals I would put BMS > Blowtorch > Small Stone > BBDDI. But that's because I like to put gated fuzzes last in the dirt order, try blowtorch > BMS, but because the BMS has it's own fuzz you probably won't notice much difference with that.

Pedal order!

There's no "right order" you can put them in any order, but the GENERAL rule I use is: Pitch shifting (octavers)> distortion > filters (incl. wahs) > modulation (phaser, chorus etc.) > time based (delay, reverb echo etc.) Compressors are personal taste depending on what you want to use it for, for peak limiting it should go at the end, but some people put it in the middle. Distortion and filters is a preference thing, I like mine distortion into filter as it gives a very synthy vocal type sound, filter then distortion is much subtler. Some people like distortion into pitch shifting, depends how good the tracking is. Obviously if you're using a driver-di as a di it needs to be at the end, also a lot of people put boosts at the end of the chain. If you've only got a few pedals mess around and see which orders you like
11. I don't think I play without some sort of drive on anymore, my most common sound is the OC-2, Turob Rat and Mastotron in LS-2 for blending, then into the Groove Regulator for pure synthy goodness, occasionally i'll add in the psilocybe on the slowest sweep. My other favourite sound is the xp-100 on the envelope filter patch, set heel down (lowest sensitivity) for a really round thumpy warm basstasic tone.
12. You need to put a price up if you're selling.
13. That guy looks like I probably will in 20 years, I just hope I can play bass like him then too
14. Is the cab is the 450w 8ohm version?
15. I've got some sennhesier hd595's at the moment, but I use them for eveything not just practicing, and they're amazing, I can wear them all day and not even notice, the hd595's are quite a ways out of your budget, but I'd definitley reccomend sennhesier. I'd be wary of the mdr-v700's to be honest, I had 2 sets and both broke in exactly the same way after a couple of months, and they were quite uncomfortable to wear for a long time, BUT they sounded absolutely amazing, you can feel the bass rattling your skull, hence why I bought a second set after the first broke. If you hunt around you can probably find them at that pricepoint
16. wd-40's non-conductive so you should be fine, just use it sparingly
17. We did a gig once with a band we'd never met before, we got there to set up and I saw a very very nice lakland on a stand, once we'd set up a guy from the other band came in, we all shook hands and so on, and I asked him if it was his bass, he said yea so I asked him if I could have a play and he said yea, and then he said he was going to meet some people and left. So I was sat on the drum riser noodling on this very nice lakland jazz, when 2 other guys come in, all of a sudden I hear: "WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU DOING? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH THAT THING COST?!?!?!" After a little more shouting this guy said he was the bassist and was very annoyed I was playing his expensive lakland, very confused and apologetic I explained that the other guy said it was his. Turned out the other guy was the singer and they'd had a massive falling out over a girl, and the singer was trying to piss him off. The bassist was actually pretty cool about it, he realised I knew what I was doing and apologised for shouting. When the singer came back in grinning they kicked him out of the band and did an instrumental set.
18. I do like colin mochrie
19. That is quite possibly the ugliest thing I've ever seen, looks like it belongs on the wall of a dutch sex shop
20. Probably an uneccasery addition at this point, but ordered payed (by bank trasnfer so it takes a few days) and recieved a very nice cable inside a week, will definitley be getting all my future cables from dave
21. I was gonna put mine up but I think i'll wait so my battlescarred korean NS doesn't have to share a page with that piece of beautiful maginficent transcednet radiance

Muffy Favour

in theory, it shouldnt need soldering, just put the ring over one of the case screws the screw it in, but i'm probably wrong
23. The first giggable full set up which I actually paid cash money for was my Spector (still my main bass after 5 years, I don't think I'll ever let her go) and a Trace 715 combo, both from bassworld back in the day. But before that I was gigging with my tanglewood rebel 4k and borrowed amps
