    yeah ... I guess so ... I would not give any penny to Mr Vlad as things stand now ... but I was just wondering if any of you had experience with those basses: in horology, former USSR automatic wrist watches have a decent reputation in terms of robustness and precision, not same as Swiss, obviously, but good ratio price/quality, that's why I was asking 'bout them! 🙂

    This is a gorgeous bass you have. I have an EB3, sounds really nice, very nice to play ... unlike the one you have, the EB3 has horrible bridge, almost impossible for intonation ...

    I generally do not get excited by Yamaha basses, sorry, but this one looks amazing ! very nice the fretboard, kind of unique!!

    the sound is very fatty I guess, with and wothout tone. .. I kinda like that chubby warm sound

    it is very nice for the eye, stylish and simple ... well done! One quick question if I may: was it hard to mount and solder the 2 knobs without carving out a cavity area?

    I guess it won't bother if it is longer, isn't it? The scale would be the same so it should not be a big issue, except, maybe, for neck diving? I dunno! Anyway ... good luck good sir, well done with experimenting !- 🙂

    5 with straight strings off nuts ... you need a looonger head thou, no? not the usual 20+ cm?

    Agree with @LowB_FTW ... the design is really good ... I would not even think of trying to go down that road thou, because of my primary ape skills in carving!

    yep, that will be me the main work ... I already squared it today, I posted a pic before and after ... I am still waiting the body to come, it is a bit late, but hopefully will come soon!
