I got it. Just what I needed. The guy I bought the acoustic for loves playing bass but the acoustic is the size of a small country. I have flogged that and the Jazz will be fine and dandy for him. Thanks again.

Lots of amps will do it. The HUGELY important bit is that her pickup is correctly buffered. Even if the instrument has a vol control that does not necessarily mean that it has a proper buffering pre-amp. It will sound like drek without one. It is all in the pre-amp.

I have always used washers on my strap buttons, but sometimes my straps are too thick so they work the anchoring screws loose. Sometimes I like to play without a strap when I am sitting down, and taking it off when it is all screwed down with washers is impossible. Just had a look at the EQ01 and my gut reaction is that it is going to be too big to go into the space I have I also have an Fdeck HPF in there already and the Uke is only small. Rats.

I had an ACG filter preamp once. It was very powerful. My brain is not. However, I would learn this time but they do not sell single ones

I need an active LPF to put in my Bass Uke. I am happy to buy off the shelf or build one. Obv I mean get someone else to build it. Any ideas? I am LPFing down to about 1Khz at the moment using Logic. I could live without the extra hardware.

I used to own one. It was nice. I realise that is not a whole lot of info. I bought it with money I had left over from my grant at the end of my first year of University. Yes I said "money left over/grant/University" all in the same sentence. Those were the days.

I enjoyed it. Nice groove. It's just as well that music is not a competition. She has a nice voice on the instrument.
