I am not thinking of anything other than what is on view. I "knew" that I wanted a white one, but it came back with the original as a place holder and it seems not bad at all. Maybe I will change them depending on my outfit.

My first really good bass is my 66 Jazz which I bought from someone who did not know what he had. I also did not know what he had, I just knew it looked like Jaco's and I had to have it. It has set the bar for all basses since then and anytime I pick up J bass I feel "at home" in a way nothing else has.

I have actually warmed to Mr 504. He obviously has a market which is totally not us and he is hitting it well. His tongue is firmly in his cheek most of the time. I wish him well. -
Thanks y'all. I am very comfortable with the "auto" drummer facility in Logic so am basically looking for new sound options. I have taken the Slate freebie and will see what happens
