Ida - oh I love some Ida, the Prince influence will stay with her forever I expect. Talking of... this is one of the stankiest faces ever pulled.... that crowd, that gig... that bassline... one can only imagine the level of satisfaction Rhonda Smith had playing this... if it doesn't start at the right point, jump to 6m 50s and wait for it. Ooof.

I'm well aware how old this thread is but a friend just shoved Bonamassa's name in front of me as a possible go-see and I thought I'd have a rummage around t'tube. Have been playing this stuff all afternoon... stunning, and even better in that sort of setting. Came on here to see if there was much love for this bunch.

Isn't the whole point of the thread to get the pitch bend & modulation working on the PC? The bluetooth stuff sounds like a workaround, I'm looking at the problem's source - wouldn't it be better to get the kb working without any app / phone / bluetooth cack in the middle?

It sounds to me like the drivers you've installed for the keyboard aren't doing their job connecting the hardware to Windows. First question then, what is the make and model of the keyboard and what version of Windows? I wouldn't - I'd go to Win 10 because... ah just accept the answer

Weekend ticket booked - partly because Jerry & Ralph are on late on the Sat and partly because alcohol.

Welcome Aiden. Thesh IT Bassist? 😉 Also 70's 80's rock here, but not out of choice (funk if I'm left to my own devices).

[Sold elsewhere] A friend bought this new and gigged it but it's been in the house / rehearsals for about the last 3 years and doesn't get pushed. Tones available are very good & varied, and the compression control can really make a difference. It was the benchmark to get my next purchase and I found many amps lacking the clarity in the Eden and I've been looking in the £500 - £1000 region. Comes with proper Eden gig bag which is really nicely padded. Cosmetically I'd describe it as good (7 out of 10) and the pre/post DI push / pull knob just isn't quite as tight when you push / pull as it would have been new - it works absolutely fine, definitely not loose or wobbly and the rotary action is spot on, just mentioning it as it's not like the other. If it was defective in any way I'd speak up as I would hate to turn up somewhere unaware of any issues. Specs & more info http://www.edenamps.net/wtx500.html I'm in Pontefract near the motorway so it's pretty easy to get to being near M62 / M1 / A1. Could meet up within a reasonable radius for fuel money but would rather it be collected so you can see it working; kettle on / chat and a cuppa always available. Happy to post at cost price (you'll see the receipt as proof) but won't post uninsured. If posted, I will make sure it goes in the bag and then in a well-padded box. I'm good like that y'see.

Amen - I've watched the two of them on YouTube a few times and this one I keep going back to ... and to quote Eric near the end "I'm having the time of my life"...

I didn't turn up in the end, and now you've posted that... gaaah!

Just seen that Eric Gales is on the Sunday and for the first time I've booked the blimmin' Saturday. I guess you can't pin 'em all down to 2 days, bit of a 50/50 guess when you book tickets, I think that's my only gripe as I don't really fancy making a weekend of it. Have enjoyed the shows over the past, umm, 4 years I've been attending - will see how the new format goes but tbh I'd happily watch the 6 stringers do their thing.
