  1. Does it sound like a passive bass to your ears?
  2. Lovely indeed. What is its weight please?
  3. T-bay :Did you own an AGRO? I've tried or owned OD's like the Soul food, valvedrive, runoffgroove B15 clone, sft, and the Aguilar goes way further in the distortion territory, though it is not a Dr Scientist Elements. Anyways I did not want to have the last word, only to follow the line Holt drawed with his first question, as this kind of questions can get you totally lost in the answers very quickly. .
  4. A lot of these are overdrives and not fuzzes or distortions as asked by Holt. I was just giving an advice in the Muff family. The green Russian is very good for bass, it's for example a basis for the earthbound supercollider, amongst a lot of orher ones. To get some natural grit the AGRO (OD/Distortion) is the best I met so far.
  5. We don't know what Liz was capable of in a bedroom, or maybe we would have married her twice too.
  6. Mostly the Robot Factory Meatwad envelope filter (meatball clone) Then the Aguilar AGRO (Third times I buy it) I feel the Keeley bassist will last long too.
  7. Maybe you should give a try to the green russian. Just a bit more expensive.
  8. I did not intend to sound suspicious, but only refering to my own ignorance. I already own an ESP/Seymour-Duncan PB bought from Hooch that is absolutely killer.
  9. Nice! I did not know they were making PJ's, but it is a very interesting plus for an instrument of this caliber.
  10. The cow! je savais pas que t'avais ça en rayon. GLWTS
  11. Unpredictably inappropriate, but Run to the hills would not have done very well either.
  12. Maybe with some work on some basses you can add a fret 1 on the headstock à la Kubicki ex-factor
  13. Of course DB, a 4 pounder will have to be useable at home too. I experience the same "problem" with the AG 700, which is quite noisy with its 2 fans, replacing my former Markbass R500 which was not. I suspect that the micro-sized amps also have to use little fans that has to run quicker (and noisier) for the same airflow. for the "problem" (not so big) I use my shuttle 3.0 -8"when playing at very low volume, and it becomes my aux amp when I play covers louder.
  14. C'est beau ça, dis donc. GLWTS, very well-known and trustworthy seller. Buy with confidence.
  15. What about planning spring holidays in the South of France?
