I think best for the money now adays is a micro pog has all the features a bassist needs wouldn't really go the Akai route. In saying that I have an octron 2 coming for my octave needs both up and down

Bassballs is two filters that move in opposite directions creating a vowel/vocal effect and you can have this with or with out fuzz. My overall opinion of it is low and I would recommend looking at anything else. There are no analog units that do a clean octave up all the others are digital and the following will do that, EHX Pog, Hog, Micro Pog, Digitech Whammy 4 (Plus previous models) that pretty much covers the mass produced units. Spring king will do that it has the kick button for that exact purpose but doesn't seem it would be all that useful its not a great pedal for anything else

I'm trying to get in tocuh with the guy to make sure it's ok to give out his number. Cost depends on what you have one of mine has a built in patch bay the the lid has a second lid for all the cables and everything so this was more expensive than my other one but both are over a year old so his costs will have increased.

No difference really the Tone Truck is bigger for less money it costs slight more than the PT Jr but is pretty much the size of a PT2 I have to admit I wish I'd bought them myself before I had cases made for the Jr's

Bought a DI box from him didn't turn up due to Royal Mail over Christmas, refund issued straight away no questions asked very nice guy to deal with, will happily do business again particularly if Royal Mail find it. Cheers
