  1. These two 🤤
  2. Oh I know, but currently it doesn’t and we have no timeline for when it will. Bluetooth he said I hope I’m not too optimistic but it should be a couple of months. Audio over USB was pulled last minute before release, but it’s had 3? firmware updates so far and it’s not there. I’m sure it will all be there, just we don’t know when and if you NEED one of these features you should hold off getting it for now imho
  3. I’d echo some of Kev’s sentiments, at least to the point of waiting for some used Anagrams to popup. If you could get £1100-£1200 for the QC and then could pickup an Anagram closer to £700, that’s a decent chunk of change to free up. If you’re paying the £899, as much as I disliked many elements of the QC I’d say it’s not worth it.
  4. Anagram doesn’t have a phaser currently, just an FYI
  5. Zerofive Audio Low Rider
  6. Posted this over at TB and wanted to share here (because I’m a narcissist and need the attention). I managed to pick up a Blue 442 and I’d been hunting around for a 442 for ages, then as soon as I got it I found a Red one. Soon as they both arrived I put them up for sale because that’s what I do. But thanks to @fretmeister I finally figured out an easy way to record pedal demos. All the old audio demos are long since removed and I didn’t want to bump a zombie thread from 2013. I mean I must have got my first one of these around 2008, the Red model or Bass mod was first made for me. In my head this has always been the best filter I’ve ever tried, with the caveat I’ve not used any filters in the past ten years and I don’t really like huge peaky filters. So I tried the guitar version once, thought oh I love that, got in touch with Tone Factor (precursor to Mojo Hand) and they mentioned they could do a bass mod for me. So the first one I owned was modded in this way, over time they eventually added it as a standard item and did a sub brand with the Boomstick Bottom Feeder. Having done this demo…. I think the guitar one might be better, but for such a small and simple mod (couple of cap changes) they sound quite different. I could easy grab either I think depending on my mood that day. Mainly this has come out of me wanting to do some demos and this one seemingly coming out quite nice, apart from the lighting is terrible and the graphics are cheesy. Signal chain is Rickenbacker 4003 with the IMA Signature Super Polished La Bella’s (put on about 10 minutes before I recorded this), into the Red, into the Blue, into the Darkglass Element running their Berg 6x10 IR (which is my favourite when running synths and heavy effect sounds), LPF boosted and HPF cut (heavily). Anyway, gave me something to do after work, enjoy and let me know if I should stick to the day job and sell anything resembling a pedal or bass. Oh and the reason that this is pointless is these have been discontinued for at least 10 years, took me months to find either of them, sure another has popped up since and they’re like buses but 🤷‍♂️ maybe it’s a good indication of what the current Dod 440 is since that’s what these are based on (vintage model).
  7. You are my new favourite person, I finally have a simple and easy workflow for pedal demos. Thank you thank you thank you.
  8. 2m 30s shows lower gain settings Listening to it, isn’t helping me with wanting to sell it 🙄 was fine in box not looking at me.
  9. I mean it would certainly do it. Currently I’m a little biased as I’m enjoying having a cab sim on my DI, which I just think sweetens any and every pedal up, so I’d pair it with a Palmer DI with it’s cab sims, or the Darkglass Element (my current fav). But you won’t have any issues with it, it’s got enough power to drive a line into a passive or active di, you’ve got great tone shaping, it’s a smooth motowny sound from the get go (which all Beta’s are famous for) You might want to ask your question here as I’m clearly trying to sell you on it: If I didn’t have a JHS Punchline (and a JF Capo) I wouldn’t be selling this.
  10. You know….. I might just prefer the guitar one
  11. Not going to be unplayed for long 😅
  12. I think they’re the same, Cioks do one and then there is the light grey Eventide branded model. I have 2 Cioks 4’s, I tend to power them with usb c and then power the second off one of the outs on the first but you can power it with literally any old adaptor you have lying around.
  13. The 2009 and the 1984. Lighting is different but there is just a really nice aging and yellowing to the ‘84 I also prefer the inlays on the older one, probably because they’re the same as my Fireglo one.
  14. So, I basically only play Rickenbackers these days, not that I have loads. I have a Fireglo 4003 from 1999 that is my main bass until I started travelling. Last year I bought a 2009 4003 in Mapleglo, which after Fireglo is my favourite colour. Then, bored, late at night I came across a 1984 Mapleglo 4003 on Guitar Center. I don’t know what more to say, it’s basically the same bass but older. Neck shape is different but every Ric has always been different for me. It’s incredible
  15. If I wasn’t sold before 😂 I sure as hell am now
  16. Cioks 4 would be my choice Just use a daisy chain cable on one of the outputs. But this is by far my favourite power supply.
  17. Tomorrow I get to plug mine in 😅 been sat taunting me all week
  18. QC’s go for £1100 - £1200 I find second hand, the sweetener is how much extra stuff can you get for that like a DC7 and Solo 18. But you will get the occasional £900 bargain. I ended up going open box because I wanted the warranty on something so expensive and the ability to send it back but some of the deals I saw were near new price. If you can list in a dip in supply when Thomann and Guitar Guitar don’t have any in stock you can really ask a premium. I’m looking forward to these Anagrams cropping up for 600-700, that’s a real sweet spot for something so powerful.
  19. Bought my 2009 4003 Rickenbacker, really nice guy. Sent funds immediately, shipped the bass to the address provided, good comms the whole way and he confirmed receipt. No problems whatsoever, deal with confidence. I too was concerned he had no posts, but checked in with Hobbayne and now I can confirm Gkats exists and this deal was flawless. So if you’re reading this with those same concerns, you’re al good, deal away.
  20. I’d say probably not worth having both, if you find your QC is under utilised (you hardly use the 8 footswitches, or you constantly wish it was smaller, or it’s just doing a little bit of processing on an already busy board) then it could be a good option to downsize the footprint. Else you’ve got two wildly different Capture ecosystems and workflows, personally I’d find that quite annoying but YMMV.
  21. Darkglass Element, then you’ve got 2 headphones out, the aux in which I use as a live IEM feed and bluetooth for home practice.
  22. My latest haul. Annoyingly after hunting for months for a 442 filter I picked up this one which I’m fairly sure is the guitar model, then a few days later I’ve come across two more one of which is definitely the bass model so I’ve picked that up. The difference is likely subtle and for all I know this one could be modded to bass specs as you could request it from Mojo Hand at the time before they split them off to two models. Orange pedal in the middle is a hand painted 1 of 1 Zvex Concert Bass Super Duper. Going to be a fun week as soon as my birth year Rickenbacker turns up.
  23. What type of dust? Do you think it affects overall output levels? 🤭
