Yeah you can, I prefer a separate volume pedal so that i can have 2 expression pedals and have one control whatever i want and the other control whatever I want. Just remember each expression pedal can control 1 or more of any parameter of any fx

Updated my M13 so it has all the sounds of the M9 Ok I apologise for these as I think they have come out a bit quite but since you want to be listening to them on some decent speakers (not laptop) you can afford to crank it up a bit I'll do some more this week with my Radial Di box. All sound samples are my Valenti Jazz (active) tuned DGCF so when you hear the super low notes on the octaver thats down to D not just E into the M13 into a 1970's Simms Watt PA100 Head into a Matamp 2x12 cab with a cheap Stagg kick drum mic on it. First up, Harmoniser set to A Major with 5th up and octave up which you can hear the differences I even do some 100% octave up to show the tracking. http://www.grygrx.net/bass/tayste/M13%20Harmoniser.mp3 Partical Verb, loving this so far what I've done here is set the expr to go through the different modes stable, critical etc so you can hear different degrees of it. http://www.grygrx.net/bass/tayste/M13%20Partical%20Verb.mp3 Phasers, first one is the script which is awesome and probably my new favourite mod on this pedal, then it goes to the Barber one which I haven't quite got right, there is some clean playing between them to distinguish. http://www.grygrx.net/bass/tayste/M13%20Phasers.mp3 Whammy, ok so here I am playing with 1 and 2 oct's up, I also do 1 and 2 octs down but the 2 octs down is pretty inaudible, the tracking is stellar and it's polyphonic, so I'm just wiggling the expr and tweaking the shift and stuff so its doing the 1 or 2 octave up with either 50/50 mix or 100% wet signal. http://www.grygrx.net/bass/tayste/M13%20Whammy.mp3 Octaver and chorus, this is the new EBS based octaver which I use first on it's own, then the analog chorus on it's own then both together. Tracking goes iffy around G but will still sound reasonable to D below E, it can just about handle double stops but not chords, the Whammy model can http://www.grygrx.net/bass/tayste/M13%20Octaver%20Chorus.mp3 Like I say these are a bit quiet but it's late here and I can't keep playing away through my amp, I'll redo these at some point and record new ones that cover my dirt and wah's and other weird noises that I'm yet to get nailed down, but in the mean time hope you enjoy these. Cheers
i can't wait to get my pedalboard all built up again. looking at a proco rat, line 6 M9 and some kind of synth pedal. plus in time a moog taurus for progz
M9 has a Rat model in it and some of the best synths I've heard (Since its the same as the M13)
I get the impression they are listening to bassists a lot now, judging by the responce of the guy on TB, he isd around on a lot of other forums as well, mostly 6 string stuff On TB someone asked if it would be possible to buy additional effects, that would be cool! Get a stock M9( (or M13) and have the room to add a few choice effects, maybe bass specific. I think there is an octaver in there aimed at bass, but from what Tayste has said, most work well with bass anyway Tony
Yeah apparently the M9 has an EBS Octaver clone inside it, plus some eq pedals as well, these will be made available for the M13 in an update shortly after the release of the M13.
-
I also tried the northern Compact recently, I didn't gig or practice with it as it isn't big/loud enough for my band, but I did give it a good run against a similarly sized cab the Matamp 2x12.
racked m13 and this on the floor
M13 is smaller than that

Unless your getting a treadle less expression pedal then PT Mini won't fit what you want, it will easily do M9 and then 2-3 more pedals.
-
No Also I don't like the fixed power cord for it, to easy to ruin it mid tour and no where to buy something else.
-
I think I'll be getting one from Tone Factor this week, I love the M13 but finding a case for it is annoying, M9 will fit on a PT Mini with an X2 wireless and another pedal say a VT or SFT for a bit of amp sim. Still need to find an international touring power supply for it.

Bit of a launch of the new line up, we'll be playing a few new songs etc I can do a special BC'er ticket price of £2 instead of the usual £4 for anyone that wants to come. 10th October starts about 6pm www.myspace.com/ourinnocencelost Cheers

It's entirely up to you but since you asked my opinion There are a few things to consider here such as weight the new neo loaded Matamp 4x10's sound great and are super light. Aesthetics, Ampeg cabs look like Ampeg cabs nothing special nothing cool even when loaded with the silver grill cloth. Matamp cabs have a stainless steel lazer cut grills and can come in a choice of pretty much any colour you could want, I have mine in red and they are very eye catching from offstage. Cost, they cost £539 it's a very cheap hi end 4x10 and I think there are offers available to BC'ers so the question is very much as asked do you keep the Ampegs or get Matamp because for that sort of money there isn't anything that comes close. One other thing which I'm quite proud of is you are supporting a small British company, this may mean nothing to a lot of people but it warms my emo heart P.S. I now have a Matamp 2x12 and its a killer small rig setup, hella loud, just taked everything a 400+ can throw at it but still able to fit in the boot of a hatchback. Hope this helps

You lie I want to see the itemised phone bill

I think really we should have a competition of who can get off the phone quickest with Jeff, I've managed to do 10minutes and that was him saying he had to go. Monz was gobsmacked
-
Haha, awesome I rang them today about possibly ordering 2 GT200's just going to give Monz's a good ragging tomorrow see how it handles my band How long was your call mine was 30mins I do enjoy it, but people do stare at you like you should be working, only asked for a price
