  1. You have to gig it. Its quality - it’s made by sandberg, the pick ups are phenomenal, and it’s über light - so light you could go back to lugging tube amps to make up for lost weight! I don’t slap and this bass made me want to - Bring the Power Back RATM sounds mint on it really happy for you!
  2. Great guy, prompt payment, easy conversation when he bought a Hipshot D tuner off me as I responded to his wanted ad. Would do business again
  3. There are no wrong notes - just slight disconcordance leading to a new direction
  4. Good man!!!! I did tell y’all it’s punchy as hell. You think atbthat weight it’s a toy, butbits a serious piece of juice. Congrats

  6. I am excited for you!!!! cant wait to hear
  7. Agreed, and thanks - less is more. Had a run out tonight with the band - did what it should do easily, sounded great and played well. I will probably shim the neck to get the action down (although I am not frequently atvthe Dusty end) it only needs a couple mm’s and then it’s done.
  8. @hooky_lowdown you win - tugbar only!
  9. @bigsmokebass stop it!!! You won’t force me to sell my DK! Top notch bass tho
  10. Ok Cheers I was aware they were Jazz, but i’ll See what they look like before drilling. May do one, may do 2, May do none!
  11. Absolutely stonking! Good work hooe you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed playing it
  12. IMHO - it shows the honesty of the seller showing it with the Ultralites - The key is that if you popped the original tuners back on, the likelihood is there would be no holes to see anyway, everything covered. Hooe the sale goes through
  13. I bloody like it, and it has some cool riffs and a nice haunting sinister content, but not in a bad way, atmospheric and building of tunes. Yoi can hear the mix of rock, blues and good old fashioned Madchester vibes in there. Nice work pal
  14. Thanks my man Blow torch and Napier London Gun stock finish from Amazon - that’s it. I did about 4 coats till the wood stopped drinking it and the last coat was a little tacky, then I wiped that in. Kept it very matt
  15. And Shipwreck lives!!!!! Just need to sort the action out - the creamery 58 pick ups and tonestyler are a brilliant combination - very happy chappy. a friend donated these to me - would be rude not to pop them on.....
  16. @BassBod this south wester is severely tempted, they are legendary, just can’t do it, too much stuff already. But again GLWTS
  17. Cheers - get busy on it!!
  18. I am not sure it was ever a myth you need an amp and can sim before an FRFR to make it work well. Its either people wanting that sound, or just a plain lack of understanding. So far as frequency range, if 31 Hz is not technically projected due to the 40- 50hz lower limit, the harmonics will be heard, and rest will be filled in by your brain - which has been covered ad nauseum
  19. Oh my......
  20. My kind of therapy would be a good chinwag and a beverage of choice! I have 2 Hohners, a passive white and an active black with Drop D tuner - love them. Zombie Bash - That would be a fantastic colour I may work on, or get someone to!
  21. @Stub Mandrel yep! Its a great point. In the recent v hot summer - onklly bass to stay in tune
  22. I think if we had a Shaun of the Dead moment - I would actually use the non-relic bass as a bat, mainly because it’s a Hohner....
