1.
Have some of us missed the point here? The Amplug plugs straight into the bass without a cable, and the headphones plug straight into the amplug. You don't need anywhere to put extra bits & Pieces and can walk from one room to another if required. The other solutions suggested all involve a free standing additional unit of some kind. I use a Tascam GTR 1, which is great, but I have to find somewere to put the trainer and if I want to move to a different chair, change room, or just want to wander around it becomes a bit of a pain. I have no idea how good the Amplug is aurally or technically, and obviously it does a lot less than some of the other ideas meantions, but conceptually it seems a great idea.
Is there a great need to wander around playing bass ? What's so bad about sitting in one spot while playing ? Its just practice, after all
 2. Interesting note : Dave Grohl palyed drums for KJ in the early 2000's

 9. She eventually did learn keyboards to a good standard. Early days dodgy musicianship aside, i always liked her. She was a proper human being and very compassionate woman. The planet could do with more people like her
 10.
I grew up near Florence Park and know the guy's brother, and his band.
Good grief. I worked for Oxford Council back in the early 80's as a maintenance gardener and Flo Park was where i worked. And i still wore a hat
 11.
Seven heads??
Not exactly. I figure i'm quite cunning and only wear one at a time. Sometimes i amaze myself at my own ingenuity

 20. Vintage TV is great for Neil McOrmicks NEEDLE TIME. Some great interviews
 21. Not sure what you mean. I'll take a guess and say you're talking about resting your hand when plucking, or leaving your hand free floating ???
 22. Nor me As for the string vibrating more over the pickup, how can that even be true ? At the pickup end, the string is barely moving at all As for high or low action, If the string doesn't hit the frets anywhere at all, then its not going to choke and will vibrate the same whether low or high A high action will make a difference when the string is fretted, though
