  1. TC Electronics Tone Print system is a neat solution to add effects directly to their amps. I have searched the TC site but cannot find a Tone Print that offers a HPF. Has anyone built a Tone Print with just a HPF and is prepared to share the file?
  2. Could you provide the chassis height without the feet?
  3. So , what's your shortlist of recommendations @Al Krow ?
  4. Black/Maple/tort for me is 🤔
  5. +1 Also a Rumble 800 combo user and I don't ever recall not being loud enough for any gigs. I also have a Rumble 800HD driving one or two BF Super Compact 12s and again never suffering any lack of power. Check out the advice from @Phil Starr and try to involve the whole band in a reassessment of your sound stage. One point to check is the external speaker impedance switch, and follow the manual for the correct settings. I support the advice from others that a 2x10 extension cab would be the best way forward to access the full 800 watts, more importantly the extra speaker area will give you a step up in overall sound output.
  6. Hi Graham, am I correct in assuming this is 34ins long scale just like the Epiphone version?
  7. Just to add my thanks to @scrumpymike Mrs Scrumpymike and the Scrumpettes for creating such a wonderful opportunity to meet with other kind like minded bassists. Atmosphere, food and fellowship second to none. T'was an absolute joy. My humble aray of basses and home brew combos . Thanks to all for a wonderful day.
  8. Only one more sleep. Yippee
  9. Accept your positive experience. But I have purchased a 30ins neck and a replacement Rick pup and frankly quality was poor and performance well below average. The Pups seem to be re-branded Chinese products which have disappointing performance. After sales support is rather hit and miss.
  10. They are yours, I'll bring them along for you.
  11. I have a pair of Eden 10in speakers taken from a SWR Goliath Jr v1. These were the first SWR Goliath Jrs that were (apparently) built for SWR in the USA by Eden using Eden drivers. They are too heavy to ship so if anyone is interested I'll bring them along. FOC. See you Sunday.
  12. OMG that is truly something to behold.. Wonderful, quirky, and probably sounds awesome. Congratulations on your superb new baby, enjoy 👏👏👏
  13. Having moved to short scale basses because of my osteoarthritis I have a great deal of love for my G&L Fallout basses a CAR Tribute and yellow US with go faster black stripes. Happy Days 😃
  14. It would be great to include a short scale version of the new Icon bolt on range.
  15. As new Crown power amp and case. The amp is as new, only used a couple of times in the house. The case was bought at the same time and apart from a Rush sticker and a mark on the front where there was a product sticker it too is as new. The combined weight is 17 kg so collection from me in West Wales or localish meet up please and I`m not looking for trades thanks. Specs below: 2x 450 Watt/4 Ohm 2x 330 Watt/8 Ohm 900 Watt/8 Ohm bridge mono Signal to noise ratio > 100 dB Damping factor > 200 XLR/RCA input Speaker Twist and binding post outputs Turn-on delay Protection against shorts 19", 2 U Installation depth: 31.5 cm
  16. This ☝️
  17. Now that's a great idea for something new at the Bass Bash "Swap Shop Table".
  18. The pups are EY Parts Eric Custom T Bird ceramic humbuckers. I chose to use two 14k Pups both higher output units which offer a huge range of very diverse tones. The Harley Benton is great starting bass for pup up grades. Alder body, bound neck, nicely finished, all for £199.
