  11. Selling my Vektor 5-string Upright. Currently strung with high C, H string is included, for a rebuild a new saddle has to be built in. This is an old model that has been modified a lot. The first owner was left-handed, so dots are on the wrong fretboard edge. Another previous owner had a thumbstop installed on D (I hope I call it that right ). I had the electronics of Christoph Dolf (Bassculture) "cleaned up". He has installed the battery compartment on the back and cleaned up the wiring. The Noll Mixpot is probably relatively vulnerable. Also included is a lot of accessories: 2 stands 1 tripod (I think this is a converted snare stand) 1 ultimate Gigbag And the H-strring The electronics are kept very simple: Volume, Blend (piezo in the bridge / magnetic Pu at the fretboard end) and tone control. This is really an extremely mature instrument and suitable for many applications. Sven Gawron does not build this basses any more, since he has specialized more on restorations and high-priced bows. The original price was probably about 5k €. The bass sounds and feels like a double bass and is not comparable to most regular EUBs. The ebony fretboard feels as thick as a whole NS Upright. for more information about the luthier: http://www.vektor-bass.de/e_index.htm Why is he allowed to go? I’m not a professional and I don’t have so much time playing this beauty. Not shown and installed on the pictures is the metal construction to simulate the body of a double bass. It is very easy to assemble and included. sorry for my bad English. bass is located in Germany near the Dutch border.
