  1. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
  2. I have a sister bass to go along with this. Exactly the same, except mine is fretless. (blank fingerboard, side dots). Fantastic instruments, although I don't currently play it. It has sat in the loft for the past 10 years or so. Very high quality build, lovely neck through body, lovely wood grains. GLWTS.
  3. I’m not local, but interested in this. Is postage an option?
  4. I think this will suit what I am after. If it's still available, I'll have it.
  5. Pre-christmas bump for this fine amp. Unbelievably, this is still available. Others have sold at more money than this, I'm surprised nobody has bought this yet.
  6. Hi Keith, I'm quite a rounded bass player, covering most styles. I regularly do dep work and play in pit bands, so have covered the styles you are after. Could you please give some more information? Cheers. In the meantime, you can check out my website if you are interested. www.davecorsie.com
  7. Beat the Black Friday deals. Now on offer at £400. Even better value than it was already.
  8. That's great. There is no on board fan, and I'm not included in the sale. Silent as you like.
  9. Well, I'm quite a fan of it, but looking to move on to something else. Does it matter whether it has a fan or not? There is no internal fan.
  10. In all honesty, I hadn't even noticed the tape before. It has now been removed, and yes, it is the 450 watt model. Hope this clears up any confusion. I wasn't sure of the power rating, hence why it has not been mentioned in the listing, so now I am enlightened too.
  11. I think what was more implied here was sarcasm. sarcasm A tongue of which the user speaks of something the complete opposite of what the user means. It often has the best comedic value. As sarcasm is usually meant for humour, was my comment meant to invoke humour, or was his comment meant to be humorous? Irony One of the most misused words in the entire English language. There are several types of irony. Socratic irony - When someone pretends to be naive about a certain subject, and uses his questions about it to point out a flaw in the established belief. This is often used on the TV show South Park, where the children often ask questions about a situation until the folly in a parent's decision becomes clear. Sarcasm - Understatement, mocking overstatement, or heavy-handed irony (stating the flat opposite of the truth) where both parties are aware of the difference between what's said and what's actually happening. Clearly, another misuse of the word irony. Neither irony or sarcasm are best put across in text form, especially when neither party knows each other, and cannot define whether the comments are meant to be humorous or not. I'm sure we have all had the meaning of some text, even to a friend misinterpreted, let alone a complete stranger.
  12. I don't see any irony in any of your comments, just rudeness at an offer to bring along some basses that might be of interest to some people. Fair enough, no interest, I won't bother bringing anything then if these are the sort of comments it attracts.
  13. I can hopefully make it along. I've been to the previous MBBs near Leicester. I can bring Fretted/fretless Wal 5 strings if any interest?
  14. Still available, unbelievably. There has been another one of these amps that sold at a higher price than this recently. This is a fair price for a great amp. There has been some interest, but no final sale yet.
