1. Selling my Electro. made by Status Graphite 4 string Mahogany back, maple top Piezo pickup in the bridge - though good slap sounds can be produced. Semi-hollow bodied. Very light. Open to offers or trades - nothing Warwick, Fender or Fender-esque though. Price-wise, I have seen the 5 string fretted version for sale in and around the £800 mark, I would be looking around £500 for this.
2. Do it There are numerous de-fretting guides on the internet so I won't tell you how here, a google search should sort it for you.

4. Dood, why do you do this to us On the prowl for a new fretted bass and I thought this one was finally beyond temptation!
5. I'm trying to save for university and selling off my electro to help - then this comes up, possibly in my top 3 ideal Status basses

7. Hmm - reading through the different models, I think red may be more what I'm after - thanks anyway

10. Those speakers are shocking, people have brought them to gigs before and I've just had them as a seat at the mixer
11. I don't quite see why you want to join the channels together, but you could do it with a patch bay and insert cables (TRS to L/R mono) - L (Tip)------ Patch Channel 1 socket 1 - TRS ------- }---------- Patch Channel 1 output 1 R (Ring) --- Patch Channel 1 socket 2 - So you're sort of splitting it, but with a patch bay rather than lots of unsightly and much less reliable splitters. Edit Blegh formatting... um
L (Tip)------ Patch Channel 1 socket 1 - TRS ------- }---------- Patch Channel 1 output 1 R (Ring) --- Patch Channel 1 socket 2 -
12.
you mean the royal soldering pickup correctly association
Exactly - very helpful bunch of people.
13. I would say the RSPCA would be all over you if you took a soldering iron anywhere near new pups....
14. There will almost certainly be a truss rod (accessable from the sound hole) and the saddle can be sanded down to suit - just make sure the bottom is still completly flat or you won't get the same pick-up by the... pickup off each string

16. The Status single tuners have the advantage of allowing you to space the bridge gaps as you wish, and the new design never takes any effort to turn (while never slipping unintentionally!)
17. Well they don't have any input checks on the address, suggesting either a sloppy business or a sloppy scam.
18. Take it back and let it run to irritating levels?
