It doesn't do what I want for guitar, but as a low-volume bass amp it does me perfectly. TOP-esque bass pounding or a little jazz, it can suit whatever I have to do right now.

    Haha! Well given that I've not played live anywhere for over a year I think any sort of "rig" is overkill - just going down to an Ashdown 50W valve geetar amp, which (braces for abuse) handles my bassing needs very well!

    Personally, I would only ever have the 'thumb over the top' thing if I need to reach a note on the lower strings with it... Something is just inherently more comfortable with having a well arched-hand position, or at least for me - especially with fretless playing (if you're into that kind of thing, ooer) I'd say your intonation will be far better with the thumb lodged firmly in the background.

    With the possibility of moving to a new house with real neighbours, I may be cutting the rig-size considerably! Any offers for a Little Mark II? Mint condition, it's maybe seen 50h of gigging, never raked. Other than monies, I would take large capacity SATA and SATA II hard drives.

DVD ROM Drive Antec 480W Trueblue PSU ATI Saphire Radeon 9550 10/100 LAN card 2 x 512MB PC3200 Crucial RAM Gigabyte GA-8IPE775 Pro mobo Intel 3.2P4E with Gigabyte Rocket cooler & Fan controller, all assembled. I'd need monies for postage & packing, or collection from Co.Down/South Belfast is grand.
