  1. So, I've been trying to learn to play reggae drum groves. Simple grove.. every 2nd and 4th note hi hat and every 4th note snare rim and kick. But, to keep it consistent and dynamic, it's simply bl00dy hard. I'm a metal fan ,but playing reggae is hard. At least I find it hard.
  2. You are good, if you know what you play as I have no idea what you are talking about. I don't know what quarter and eight notes are.
  3. I rarely sit down and just listen to music, but yesterday I set the back rest of the gaming chair ( I don't play games) almost into laying position whilst listening to Killers LP by Iron Maiden. Engineering on that album is phenomenal. Otherwise I listen to the good old Planet Rock. Love it
  4. I don't measure string heights, ever. I even have string height adjustment tool. Inset it at a comfortable level whilst keeping the buzzing low if none is not an option.
  5. So, supposing you see something in the market place or else you always wanted but at a affordable price, you will say no. I think not. It's like joining the gym in January......
  6. Motley Crue- Dr Feelgood
  7. I have had another bad experience with Andertons about 4 years ago. Their website advertised price match and when I contacted them they simply refused!
  8. For obvious reasons I think it's for safety aspect. Are these vans equipped with CCTV?
  9. Is this was caused the end of certain era in January 2020?
  10. Some Eastern European countries have a good system. You go to your GP, and if after examination they decide to refer you, you often see a specialist the same day. You are expected to wait in the waiting room for hours, but you see them regardless. People have insurance , which you register with your GP etc. Your employer pays for your health insurance unless you're self employed pay yourself or unemployed paid by system. Children don't go to see any GP, they have paediatric GP surgeries. You are always guaranteed an appointment. If you're are not happy to wait at GP surgery, you can pay for a appointment time slot. Technically, the health care is a small fee you pay or your employer pays.
  11. I'd choose Ibanez with PJ configuration for change
  12. Axl Rose would leave the stage shortly into the gig, he must have been sick
  13. I think junior doctors are in the same position, overworked.
  14. It's probably the blisters on your fingers that mistype
  15. It's mostly, electronic, and since this morons decided to ruin customer relations, even NHS would call you in advance knowing that important medical appointments are not missed due to undelivered letters.
  16. I have once bought a Jackson dinky with a Floyd rose and neck nut lock. The thread on the nut lock was worn out despite being a brand new guitar. I called them up and was advised to buy a new screw. The fact was it was the thread in the nut. The guitar went back to the shop. Thanks but no thanks!
  17. You think anyone gives a sh*t when you complain to RM management, it gets swept under the carpet..
  18. When did I blame posties, and what makes you think I don't understand how profits work?
  19. Wasn't easy to vote but managed
  20. This is when bifocals or verifocals come handy
  21. Same here, about 6", enough to cause havoc haha
  22. I agree, I don't feel the Christmas without snow is the same. We had a snow 10 days or so before Christmas, then it went from -5 to +12 over night.
  23. I think the snow during Christmas makes a difference
  24. Are you a postie? If you are I had no intention to offend you. I pretty much know how things work. Royal Mail delivering junk mail makes extra income. Still nuisance, bad for environment. I may just keep my recycling bin outside my front door with a sign on. I thought staff enjoyed carrying extra weigh in their bags, good for posture, keeps them fit. Of course I don't think that. Who would like to. Should my argument be directed elsewhere? I don't argue. And I think my point was reasonable. All my important appointment letters were delivered after the actual appointment dates, but for good measure RM loads their staff with unnecessary junk mail rather than filter through mail and deliver important mail. Our new postie is she, the previous was she too. Diligence, I had a chat with her the other day as I happened to be outside. But don't worry matey. I didn't bring up the strikes as I have respect for people, and I understand their needs. Poor you? Well I won't go into a conversation on this one. I hope this satisfies your fiery answers.
