The specifications : Original Fender 1970 metal control plate. Original Stackpole 250 kOhms pots (3) from the 23rd week of 1970 (solid metal shaft). Code number: 3047023 Made: June 1970 (week 23) Manufacturer: Stackpole Electronics, Inc. (Until about 1964 used a lot by Fender) Original output jack socket (impossible to read manufacturer, but certainly CTS). Original white wires, the black ones being a later addition. Original volume Bakelite knobs, the tone one being more recent (and plastic with an hex screw). Non original Sprague Orange Drop 47 nF capacitor. These are genuine vintage Fender parts from the year 1970, not from the 70's, nor a reissue, except for the tone plastic knob, black wires and the Sprague capacitor !!! Which is on the light side for this period. I played this very bass and it's a tone monster. You can sound like Marcus Miller, of course, but also like Jaco Pastorius and, strangely, like James Jamerson too... One of the best ash/maple Fender Jazz Bass I'ver ever played, and I've owned a lot, but I'm a fretless man. 😉 Even if @Jadenacre is new here, he is been active on Zikinf for years, so you can deal in total confidence.
