  1. It depends of the scale, but if it's an early bird, then it's a Stanley Clarke and 30.75 inches scale. If it has a 32 or 34 inches scale, then it's a Mark King, but it can't be that as the MK was only introduced in 1989...
  2. Listen to this album then : https://leitnerjoe.bandcamp.com/album/blow-torch
  3. And Geddy? And Tony Levin ?
  4. Tubular Bells ... on the radio !
  5. 20. Wrong answer, Lou Deprijck was born in Lessines. Plastic Bertrand who was born Roger Jouret in Brussels has never sung on that hit, but was also a fake singer on his 4 first albums, only making playback !!! Lou Deprijck has always been the singer, composer, arranger and producer for these first 4 albums. I knew it from the late session drummer Bob Dartsch (original drummer for Ça plane pour moi) since the late 80's and the 2010 final judgment got Lou Deprijck definitely confirmed as the singer for Plastic Bertrand first 4 albums as Roger Jouret eventually recognised on the 28th of July 2010 that he never sung on his first four albums, including the mega hit Ça plane pour moi... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ça_plane_pour_moi https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lou_Deprijck https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plastic_Bertrand
  6. That's a Stanley Clarke model with the point body (remember that you can order whatever shape you want by Alembic) as it doesn't have the hum-cancelling system, but the AXY pickups with the two filters and the two Q switches. So definitely a Stanley Clarke model.
  7. Urm, why is it credited to ... Santana ?
  8. Looks like the real Tony Levin Signature MusicMan. Beware, it can burn in the barn spontaneously.
  9. Mesa Boogie is the company @agedhorse has worked for, amongst others, certainly.
  10. Nothing.
  11. Indeed. If I remember correctly, I sold mine for 250 Euros in late 90's early 2000's... That said the delivery time for this reissue is ... 28 weeks, so better ordering now to be sure to get one, for those interested.
  12. I had an original one in the 90's, but never found the chorus that terrific for bass, but the flanger was indeed great. Now I have the JAM pedals Waterfall (Bass edition) which is just what I need as a chorus and a great vibrato too.
  13. Anything by Uzeb or EST, but these are bands where the bass (Alain Caron) or double bass (Dan Berglund) is totally integrated in the composition process. And those extraordinary albums : Adfa by Jonas Hellborg, Bass Time by Offground Tag, Bestial Cluster by Mick Karn, Discipline by King Crimson, East West by Bill Frisell, Hejira by Joni Mitchell, Rebirth by Aka Moon, Space Ritual by Hawkwind, Trio in Tokyo by Michel Petrucciani, Upper Extremities by Bruford Levin, Voice by Hiromi, We get Requests by The Oscar Peterson Trio. And a lot more...
  14. Nice lefty intonation. 🤣
  15. The hard case was extra too. In fact, everything was extra, except the strings.
  16. Lemmy tribute is always good !
  17. Wonderful, at least a readable text. Thanks."/[{\]}|~`™
  18. Shouldn't say it here, but I'm a huge jazz fan. What you don't want to listen to or haven't, I surely have, so you can tell it to the teachers you don't need to do it. Glad to see you back.
  19. It was Arbiter that did the respray job at the time as they were the Fender importer.
  20. Here's what you can read in the Guardian article : "She told the court that the listing was removed after one day."
  21. So a happy ending for something that should not even have surfaced, but a happy ending only due to the bad publicity created by this nonsense greedy operation. The sentence “feel free to file a lawsuit if you insist on the demands” doesn't mean you have to, except if you are very susceptible, which seems to be the case for EC's lawyers as the case was closed after the withdrawal of the aforementioned bootleg CD. So they didn't need to insist by sending another letter threatening the lady in question as she already did what was asked. I would have done the exact same thing in this exact same situation, except that I don't own any illegal records or films, because I'm a person who think the copyright is really important.
  22. Ritter is recessed like Leduc has been making for decades. 😉
